Biotechnology in Altai
International Forum "Biotechnologies: Science, Education, Industry"
On September 23, the International Forum "Biotechnologies: Science, education, industry" will open in Barnaul.
The Forum unites two major events: the IV Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference (with international participation) "From bioproducts to bioeconomics" and the III International Biotechnological Symposium "BIO-Asia-2021".
Representatives of state authorities and business, leading scientists and experts in the field of biotechnologies of Russia and foreign countries will meet at the forum site for a comprehensive dialogue and making practical proposals on possible areas of biotechnological development and education.
What areas will be considered at the forum:
- Sustainable bioeconomics and industry: drivers and barriers to development.
- Biotechnological education: tools for attracting talented young people to the high-tech industry.
- Biopharmaceuticals and personalized medicine: modern challenges and main trends.
- Plant biotechnology: modern methods and application practice.
- Industrial and food biotechnologies: problems of development and implementation.
- Biotechnologies in animal husbandry: prospects and problems of development.
Altai State Technical University will become one of the forum's venues, where strategic and expert-analytical sessions will be held.
