High technology. Innovation. Investments (Hi-Tech'2009)

International Exhibition-Congress "High Technologies. Innovation. Investments" is one of the first events in Russia in the field of promoting high technologies, innovations, investment projects in the scientific and technical sphere and ensuring effective interaction of scientific organizations and enterprises with industry and potential investors.


Since 2008, the exhibition-congress "High technologies. Innovation. Investments" is held twice a year – in March and in September.This decision of the organizers is caused by the need to bring scientific and technical developments and innovations closer to industry.

After all, innovation is not only and not even so much advanced scientific developments, innovation is the introduction into mass production. At the same time, the strategic task of any industrial enterprise is the constant updating of its production facilities and products. Therefore, the division of the exhibition-congress "High Technologies. Innovation. Investments" for two projects:

• Exhibition-congress for all fields of science and economicsSpecialized Exhibition of High Technologies for Industry
• Exhibition-Congress "High technologies.

Innovation. Investments" with an expanded universal theme will traditionally take place within the framework of the "Russian Industrialist" from September 30 to October 3, 2009. In addition to the industrial component, aerospace technologies, alternative energy, biotechnologies, high technologies in medicine, IT technologies, ecology, transport, as well as development financing and venture financing will be presented at this exhibition.

Specialized exhibition-Congress "High technologies. Innovation. Investments" (Industrial Innovations) will be held from March 10 to 13. It will work on the same site as the St. Petersburg Technical Fair. This project brings innovations and high technologies closer to industry, all branches of which are widely represented at the St. Petersburg Technical Fair.

On March 11, the II Annual conference "Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials. Prospects of industrial application". Leading specialists and heads of enterprises, representatives of scientific institutes are invited to participate in the conference.

As part of the business program, the competition "The most innovative project and the best scientific and technical development of the year" will be held. The competition was established by the Ministry of Science of Russia in 1998 and during its holding more than a thousand developments in various fields of the national economy were awarded with medals and diplomas. Given the problems with financing innovative projects, participation in the competition has become the easiest way for most enterprises to present their developments to a wide range of interested parties. This year the competition was organized with the assistance of the Republican Research Scientific and Consulting Center of Expertise.

The exhibition will be held on the same site as the St. Petersburg Technical Fair, a leading Russian project in the field of metallurgy, mechanical engineering, automotive industry, metalworking and industrial innovation. The traditional holding of the exhibition-congress together with industrial events gives an additional impetus to the development of domestic high-tech production and the effective use of intellectual and industrial resources, attracting attention to competitive domestic scientific developments. This is what distinguishes the exhibition "High Technologies. Innovation. Investments" from similar events. Scientific organizations engaged in fundamental research, research foundations engaged in applied research, as well as industrial enterprises, small innovative business organizations and universities are located side by side in the exposition.

The holding of the conference and exhibition is an important step in a set of measures to promote the development of domestic high-tech production, the activation of innovation and the introduction of promising developments into production.
