Medical Forum "Health Industry"

From February 12 to 16, 2008, a large-scale exhibition and congress event – the First International Medical Forum "Health Industry" will be held at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Pavilions No. 2, Halls 5, 6 and 7. The goals and objectives of the forum-exhibition "Health Industry" include discussion of ways to modernize the domestic healthcare system, develop public-private partnerships in this sector, and attract investment in the medical industry.

The fact that 2008 was named the "Year of the Family" makes the forum particularly relevant in the field of health protection. The organizers also set themselves practical tasks: to improve the qualifications of medical practitioners, to demonstrate the latest medical products, to establish mutually beneficial relations with foreign partners to adapt the market of medical goods and services to the European level, as well as to inform the population about effective methods of preventing various diseases.

The International Medical Forum-exhibition "Health Industry-2008" unites a number of specialized expositions covering all areas of medicine and pharmacology from prenatal diagnostics to geriatrics, but the emphasis is shifted to the scientific program, as is customary all over the world.

The scientific and practical program entitled "Doctor of Russia of the twenty-first century", formed by the country's leading scientists under the leadership of the rector of the Moscow Medical Academy named after I.M. Sechenov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and RAMS Mikhail Paltsev, will be held from February 13 to 15 and will include thirty-three events in twenty-seven specialties.

The format of the scientific and practical forum is unique: conferences, round tables, symposiums on topical issues of oncology, cardiology, surgery, radiation and clinical diagnostics, urology, phthisiopulmonology, biotechnology, nanomedicine, vaccination, pediatrics, pharmacology, hepatology, gynecology, traumatology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, rheumatology, AIDS prevention, other viral infections, polio will be held in combination with discussions and analysis of medical errors.

The business program of the forum "Health Industry" will combine seminars and round tables devoted to the problems of modernization of the healthcare system, the analysis of the quality of medical care, the development of public-private partnerships and attracting investment in the medical industry, improving the economic efficiency of medical institutions.

In addition to a rich scientific, practical and business program, the International Medical Forum "Health Industry" provides a number of thematic expositions: Rosmedtechexpo - medical equipment and equipment; "Pharmacy" – pharmacology, production of medicines, biotechnology, nanotechnology, equipment and software for pharmacies; "Healthy Child" – pediatrics, pregnant women's health, health of kids, schoolchildren, leisure and sports; Rosrehaexpo – rehabilitation, restorative medicine, balneology, programs for the disabled; "03 – Expo" – emergency medicine, telemedicine, mobile hospitals; "Be healthy" – prevention, gerontology, healthy lifestyle, demography, medical insurance; Medbuildexpo – design, construction and equipment of medical centers.

The initiative of holding a large-scale medical forum was supported by the organizers of already existing popular exhibitions. Within the framework of the forum "Health Industry-2008", an event known to specialists will be held – the fifth All-Russian Dental Exhibition "Dental Review".

A fair of medical and wellness products will be held for visitors, free consultations of practicing doctors, express examinations, presentations of innovative medical products will be held. Private clinics and medical centers will introduce those who wish to effective health and wellness and medical and aesthetic programs, offer contracts for medical care.
