Nanomaterials and nanotechnologies in biology and medicine

1st International Summer Scientific School "Nano 2009. Nanomaterials and nanotechnologies in biology and medicine". June 29 – July 4, 2009, Krasnovidovo (Moscow State University).The development of nanotechnology, the creation and use of nanomaterials are new areas of knowledge that significantly affect or revolutionize the development of many areas of medicine and biology.



The Scientific and Educational Center for Nanotechnology of Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia), Center for Drug Delivery and Nanomedicine, University of Nebraska Medical Center (USA), Russian State Medical University are planning to hold the 1st International Summer Scientific School (advanced Training courses) "Nano2009. Nanomaterials and nanotechnologies in biology and medicine".

The Nano2009 School will be an interdisciplinary project, interesting for participants of different specialties, students, postgraduates and employees, it will provide up-to-date information about existing achievements and development prospects in the field of nanotechnology. Lectures by leading Russian and foreign scientists, business representatives are expected, an analysis of the situation in Russia and other countries in this area will be given, information on the development of research in various centers in the world will be presented. Poster and/or short oral reports of the school participants, organization of round tables on one or more declared topics are expected.

It is planned to publish the materials of the school in the form of a collection of abstracts and lecture materials.
Working languages are English and Russian.

  • Photosensitive proteins are the basis of a new generation of photosensory, photoinformational technologies
