Yulia Gulenkova, Head of the direction "Medical Devices and IT in Healthcare" of the Biomedical Technologies cluster of the Skolkovo Foundation:
"Today, for the second year in a row, we, on the initiative of the Skolkovo Foundation, are launching the Quality of Life competition. This name itself suggests a very broad subject of competitive projects, which includes not only technical means of rehabilitation of people with disabilities, but also innovative approaches to registration, processing and storage of a large amount of data related to physiological indicators. After all, this is what helps a modern person to control his physical condition, thereby maintaining his health and quality of life. We are confident that the projects that will take part in the competitive selection will receive support not only from the foundation, but also from our partners in the competition, as well as the widest possible opportunities for their implementation."

Oleg Korzinov, Executive Director of the Severny Biopharmaceutical Cluster (based at MIPT):
"The development of biotechnologies in the 20th century has already yielded practical results in the fight against such dangerous diseases as HIV\AIDS, hepatitis C and other socially important diseases. Developing cellular and genomic technologies give hope to many patients for a qualitatively new standard of living. The ongoing integration of the bio- and technosphere will lead to significant advances in the field of diagnostics and personalization. We need not to miss this new technological trend and select the most promising teams and projects in Russia."

Vadim Samorodov, Program Manager of the Timchenko Foundation:
"For us, as a charitable foundation, which puts improving the quality of life of the older generation as the main priority of its activities, this competition is extremely important, because technological solutions can give people with disabilities completely new life prospects. We are looking forward to the results of the competition and will be happy to present the best solutions to the general public at the Society for All Ages conference, which will be held on October 6-7, 2016 at the Infospatial site."

Ivan Biryukov: General Director of the Center for the Development of Social Innovations "Technologies of Opportunities":
"Today it is difficult for us to imagine our life without technology and gadgets. We feel very uncomfortable when our capabilities are limited by a dead smartphone, lack of network or Internet access. But for some people, technology and gadgets are a vital necessity. These are people with special needs who literally have to face barriers caused by their health restrictions at every step of their life. The support of such technologies allows not only to help novice developers implement their idea, but also to provide new opportunities to those for whom it is vitally important."
