"Science is beautiful!" – 2009
The publication "Science and Technology of Russia – STRF.ru "together with the Park-Media company, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Federal Agency for Science and Innovation, they are holding a scientific photography contest "Science is Beautiful!".
The organizers and partners of the contest strive to form a new view of science and technology in Russia, to develop a creative approach to scientific activity, to reflect its individual, unique image.
Acceptance of works is open from March 2 to May 1.
Nominations:
- "The world hidden from our eyes"
- "Science means development"
- Special nomination of the company "Nanotechnology – MDT" "Aesthetics in hardware". Works where the company's equipment or elements of their corporate identity are present in the composition are accepted for participation. The winner will receive a special prize from the company.
Prizes:1st place – 15,000 rubles.
- 2nd place – 9,000 rubles.
- 3rd place – 5,000 rubles.
All winners will receive commemorative diplomas.
In addition, a vote will be held for the candidate for the "Audience Award". The author whose work receives the largest number of votes based on the results of the audience vote will receive a special prize from the contest partners.
Criteria for the selection of winners:
The artistic and technical aspects of the work are evaluated, as well as the level of complexity and presentation of the material. Photos made using various photography techniques, including micro- and macro photography, are accepted for the competition. Works submitted for the competition in
Participation in the contest is free of charge.
The best works of the competition will be selected for participation in exhibitions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and other hospitable cities of Russia.
