Immortality Corporation

Conditional early immortality
The Russia 2045 movement wants to turn Vladimir Putin into a hologram
and to renovate his body with artificial organsAlexey Chelnokov, "Top Secret" No. 7-2011

"We have three projects that will turn the globe upside down," Anatoly Chubais, the head of Rusnano, told reporters at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum held in June 2011. One of them is "medicines for old age". However, the creator of the Russian privatization is modest: "... we are talking about extending active life to biological limits."

The specter of prolonging life up to immortality has been hovering over Russian politicians and oligarchs for a long time. The project "Russia 2045" is designed to immortalize not only the names of their creators, but also the mortal bodies…

The ghost of immortality over the MotherlandIt's not easy for me to reach you, but it's four steps to immortality.

So it is: you can't get to Putin either by plastoon or by short dashes, and it's already time to bring small containers to the warehouses of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for bottling the elixir of eternal youth. It is only necessary to wait for only three or four decades, which is a nanomemple against the background of eternity.

Hollywood actor Steven Seagal has already written a letter to Putin. Two tough guys, two masters of martial arts, they have to find a common language. Stephen called Vladimir an "outstanding world leader", and then – about the most important thing: "I learned about the existence of the public movement "Russia 2045" from my Russian friends and decided to join him and become his representative in the United States." The movement promises to make people "virtually immortal" by 2045. With the help of high technology. "The ultimate goal of the project is to create an artificial human body. Intermediate goals: the creation of artificial organs, the development of ways to prolong life."

– I consider myself Russian. Russian Russian roots, – wrote Segal and expressed pride in the fact that the technology of achieving immortality was invented in Russia and that "its forerunners are great Russian scientists and researchers."

For the Russian Buddhist Sigal, "the suffering of human beings is not an empty sound." He knows that Putin also "pays a lot of attention to prolonging life and is actively working on finding solutions." Moreover, Seagal and Putin are the same age, in 2045 they will turn ninety–three, and a healthy lifestyle gives hope to live up to these advanced years. In short, Vladimir and Steven need to meet to discuss ways to achieve and mass introduction of immortality.

– You say that you are like a draft horse, and before that you were like a slave on galleys... Aren't you tired? – the Autoradio presenter once asked Putin.

(The Prime Minister has just arrived from an inspection of the Olympic facilities: "This is a grandiose structure! One of them, the main arena, is five times bigger than the Colosseum! There is no better, there is no better anywhere! This is natural, because we are doing it using new technologies!" Putin enthused under the impression of what he saw.)

– Are you retiring me? The prime minister asked.

– No, I'm not saying that you need to retire... – the presenter was confused.

– Every person probably thinks about his life, about his future, – Putin gave a detailed answer. – Everyone, without exception! I just can't imagine a person who doesn't think about his life and his future at all. Me too.

Clearly, Putin is not getting tired and is not going to retire!

...Then they wrote the manifesto of the movement. The idea is "tin": "... it is possible and necessary to eliminate aging and even death", "such a project will make Russia a world ideological leader, as well as revive our country's leadership in various fields of science and technology", "... the world needs a different ideological paradigm", "... it is necessary to formulate a super task".

They threw a cry on the Internet: "... we offer to join the strategic public movement "Russia 2045" to all passionaries: scientists, politicians, media people, philosophers, futurologists, businessmen."

The Tsiolkovskys, Paracelses, Kulibins, Cagliostro, Bekhterevs, Newtons and Julverns were gathered: head of the Department of Neurophysiology and neurointerfaces of the Moscow State University Biofac; writer-futurist; corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Director of the Institute of Biochemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences; curator of the Kaliningrad branch of the Center for Contemporary Art; head of the Institute of Gerontology; Head of the Department of Biomedical Systems of the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology, editor-in-chief of the journal "Medical Technology"; head of the Institute of Applied Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences; head of the Mathematical Neurobiology of Training at the Institute of Higher Nervous Activity and Neurophysiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences and many more.

The people in the initiative group of the movement gathered mostly well-known, well-deserved, in a word, major scientists and their problems, of course, are large and, above all, scientific… Such will honor any project, despite all the problems.

So another step towards immortality was taken!

Immortality CorporationOn October 20, 2010, at the Future talks conference held in Vienna, the so-called "transhumanist" and futurologist Raymond Kurzweil stated that in the 2040s the human body will consist of artificial organs that surpass biological ones in properties.

("Transhumanism," as defined by the American philosopher Max Mohr, is based on the assumption that man is not the last link in evolution, which means he can improve indefinitely.")

The project "Russia 2045", which is inspired by the ideas of Western "transhumanists", appeared online in early 2011. It seems that they were in such a hurry to open it that they did not wait for the legal registration of a public organization. Or maybe they were thinking of registering it as a political party in the future.

The members of the initiative group claimed that mythical creatures coming to life on the pages of science fiction writers' books will be seen in ordinary life in a few decades. Any human organ, with the exception of the brain, "can be copied by technical devices." And the brain can theoretically be converted into a "digital format".

"The mind code is a set of elementary operations and algorithms that ensure the work of the brain, many of which are known. Identifying the rest is a matter of the next few years," said Vitaly Dunin–Barkovsky, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

"If intuitively, then the human brain could live for 200 years if it were not for diseases of other organs and vessels,– shared Alexander Kaplan, Doctor of Biological Sciences.

"The brain, of course, can be technically transplanted into another body and even into a jar with a nutrient solution. But then the priorities of the brain will change dramatically, and it is unlikely that he will want to live in a bank. After all, the brain is not just a governing body – it is the carrier of a person's personality," Kaplan explained.

"The creation of the body is mainly modern technologies, in which Russia has long and hopelessly lagged behind. And understanding the mind – this task should be a priority for us," adds Dunin-Barkovsky.

"We are not difficult to arrange! There are only a few systems: circulatory – carries oxygen and nutrients, excretory – removes waste. The rest is the working bodies ..." – sums up the Doctor of Medical Sciences Boris Gavrilyuk.

And a little later, the world got acquainted with the work plan of the Immortality Corporation, established by Dmitry Itskov, the 31-year-old president of the New Media Stars holding, the main initiator and organizer of Russia 2045.

Four steps, four directions to immortality – that's what this plan is.

"The fourth direction looks the most futuristic – the design of the hologram body,– declared Itskov, a graduate of the Faculty of Corporate Management of the Russian Academy of Economics. Plekhanov. – Perhaps this is how K. E. Tsiolkovsky's idea of "radiant humanity" will be realized. (The Kaluga dreamer considered himself a materialist, but recognized the complete transition of matter into energy. I saw the "radiant humanity" as the pinnacle of evolution, which will fill the entire outer space.)

  • Step one: 2015-2020, "an artificial copy of the human body (avatar), controlled by thought using a neurointerface."
  • Step two: 2020-2025, "an artificial copy of the human body, into which the brain is transplanted at the end of life."
  • Step three: 2025-2035, "an artificial copy of the human body into which consciousness is transferred at the end of life."
  • Step four: 2035-2045, "body-hologram".

"Of course, they will not be as perfect as shown in the movie "Surrogates", but the basic, remote principle of controlling such bodies through the interface will be implemented. And in the next four years, the release of the first artificial body is expected," the energetic young man Itskov said.

Following this, the initiators of the creation of the movement "Russia 2045" appealed to President Dmitry Medvedev with a request for support for their proposed new national idea to create an artificial body. The ideological coloring of the project was clearly visible in the appeal to the president. It was proposed to develop a new system of human views and values at the state level.

The hand of a political strategist who knows how to control the electorate through a television "interface", capable of turning a politician into an iridescent hologram, was felt in this. A line from a Western political publication immediately comes to mind: "Putin is not a superman, but rather a hologram that Russians want to believe in."

And on the other hand, I remembered how the former masters of "reforging" came with a Chekist mauser to remake the philistine soul. "The abilities given to me by nature limit me," says the American philosopher Max Mohr, an apologist for the "new forging" of man. Engineers of the XXI century, having adopted the latest discoveries of chemistry, neurophysiology and genetic engineering, dream of remaking the human body, bringing out its new, ideal variety, like Michurin – an exemplary apple tree. The man of tomorrow will become a digital model, the advocates of this "reforging" who call themselves "transhumanists" are convinced.

By the way, the business of so-called "cryonists" is built on the ideas of transhumanists, who promise immortality by deep freezing of brains. A few years ago, a commune of "transhumanists" of a special kind appeared in the village of Alabushevo near Moscow. Legally speaking, this is the firm "KrioRus", which freezes and stores the brains of the deceased.

– When science is able to revive the frozen brain, it will be implanted into the body of a cyborg, – said the head of the firm Danila Medvedev (by the way, Candidate of economic sciences – a colleague of the head of "Russia 2045"). – Another option is to enter the clone's body. And I would prefer to give up my own body, connect to a computer and live as information structures on the Internet.

Before the appearance of the first cryopharm in Russia, deep post-mortem freezing was performed only in the USA. According to unofficial data, Walt Disney and Salvador Dali are in "cryo-sleep". Proper work with the press and celebrities has made cryonics a very attractive industry in an economic sense. This is despite the fact that the most modest version of "conservation" costs 30 thousand dollars, and at the highest level – 150.

Exactly 5 years ago, journalist Olesya Atamanova asked the villagers from Alabushchevo about cryogenic aliens.

– We sat, drank, talked about life, and it turned out that these transhumanists are practically communists, – said the old–timer. – In 50 years there will be another life on Earth, they say. From each – according to their abilities, to each – according to their needs. There will be no wars, there will be different defaults, but there will be world peace. And most importantly, people will overcome disease and death and will live forever.

What an amazing coincidence in the forecasts!

"Raciofascism"– The ideas of this movement are clearly pseudoscientific and inveterate, – said Sergey Khoruzhiy, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, head of the Institute of Synergetic Anthropology at the Higher School of Economics, making it clear that he has nothing more to say about "Russia 2045".

From an ethical point of view, Professor Irina Siluyanova, Head of the Department of Biomedical Ethics of the Russian State Medical University, commented on the immortal ideas of the movement:

"The development of science has always been accompanied by utopian projects. Pseudoscience, "anti–science" is the name of such projects. For example, already in the IV century, Basil the Great first formulated the essence of "semi-science": "overcoming morality" by scientists. Dostoevsky also wrote about the phenomenon of "semi-scientists" who are trying to overcome the moral principles associated with human relationships.

The scientific community has always found the strength to push such projects to the sidelines of the scientific highway. For example, the Austrian-born American philosopher Paul Feyerabend (1924-1994) coined the term "raciofascism". So he called the inhuman direction in the development of science. Fascist Germany with its medical experiments on humans is eloquent evidence of this.

Russian philosopher Piama Gaidenko proposed the concept of "utopian activism", similar to "raciofascism". These concepts, in my opinion, can be attributed to the ideas of the "Russia 2045" movement and "transhumanism" in general. The task of overcoming a person as such is set.

– But it is probably impossible to prohibit research in the field of "immortality"....

– Man is actually immortal as it is. Since ancient times, all religions of the world have stated this reality. And this is the key to the existence of humanity as a species. So there are no new ideas here. If the "quality" and meaning of immortality change, as the "transhumanists" dream, human civilization itself will perish.

– How, will the "immortals" die?!

– They will die by themselves. Overcoming humanity, with its sufferings, mistakes, love and tragedies, a person destroys himself…

(I immediately remembered the story of the "transhumanist" by Danila Medvedev:
– The traditional family as a unit of society is a brake on the way to earthly paradise. You can live well without love, it is a waste of resources. Instead of biological pleasures, a person will get pleasure from activities – the creation of works of art, knowledge of the world. Instincts will be abolished and replaced by "intelligence programs". In 50 years, no one will care about sex, and an artificial uterus will give birth and bear children).

– However, – continued Professor Irina Siluyanova, – it is not necessary to go so far – this is the territory of scholasticism. It is necessary to say that in the conditions of the Russian market it is impossible to avoid attempts to somehow make money on one of the fundamental ideas of humanity - the idea of immortality. Despite all the utopianness of such projects. In the end, every society eventually makes a choice: either traditional moral ideals or the worship of science. In this mode, there is human culture, and this is the drama of human existence. And there is a specific situation in Russia…

– What is its specificity?

– In the birth trauma of our citizens – the ideology of vulgar materialism, in the total influence of the "scientific consciousness", which was cultivated back in Soviet times. And in Germany, unlike Russia, the law prohibits, for example, the use of embryos to extract stem cells.

– That is, in Western countries, politicians force scientists to observe ethical standards? But how to explain the fact that serious scientists are involved in the Russia 2045 project?

– On the one hand, scientists may be influenced by ideas about the omnipotence of science. The specificity of their consciousness is that they perceive science as the only reality, that is, they are in a state of "stable delusion". By the way, many people do not draw a clear line between vice and virtue.

On the other hand, scientists are sometimes ready or forced to seek funding for their research in any way. Even cynically "exploiting" the idea of immortality.

Stalin 's FuturesIt's not easy for me to reach you, but it's four steps to immortality…

Science fiction writer and futurist Maxim Kalashnikov also wrote an open letter to President Dmitry Medvedev, but it was a year and a half earlier - in September 2009.

"I am not naive enough to ask for a personal meeting, although it would not hurt. My coordinates are left at the end of the letter," the fantasist addressed Medvedev like a man to a man. He offered his services: "... I need to save the Russian Federation, the rest of my great Homeland. I do not want its complete disintegration, but for this I am ready to cooperate even with Satan himself."

His indignant mind was boiling even in the third person: "Behind Maxim Kalashnikov is a cohort of innovators. He is the author and co–author of several works on the possible innovative development of the Russian Federation, written in 2000-2008. Here – "Ride the lightning! Russian Russian", "Forward to the USSR-2", "The Third project", "The Star of captivating risk", "Tsunami of the 2010s", "Superman speaks Russian", "War with the Golem", "Russian doctrine", "It's time to spread your wings". I know a lot–and many. My horizons are much wider than those of your ministers."

What did the "cohort of innovators" led by Kalashnikov offer?

First, to create a "small" city of the future" (a cluster of innovations) near Moscow "like the Soviet "demonstration agricultural communes in the 1920s - with electrification of production, with mechanization..."

Secondly, "create under the President of the Russian Federation (and not under the government!) a certain VISNH is the Supreme Innovation Council of the National Economy."

Both should be done, the science fiction writer wrote, "relying on real practitioners-innovators, and not on stupid officials." Kalashnikov, with an Odessa intonation, noted that "I have candidates for such people."

It is appropriate to say that Maxim Kalashnikov is a writer's pseudonym of citizen Vladimir Kucherenko, who was born in 1966 in the family of his own correspondent of Pravda in Odessa. Historian by education, worked as a correspondent in Vechernaya Moskva, Megapolis-Express, Rossiyskaya Gazeta, etc.

"The letter caused a great reaction," Maxim Kalashnikov later assured. Allegedly, "Medvedev instructed the Russian government to consider the proposal of Russian citizen Maxim Kalashnikov concerning the technological modernization of the economy, which he read on the Internet."

The fantasist told about a personal meeting with the deputy head of the presidential administration Vladislav Surkov in his blog. It took place on December 4, 2009, but the writer did not take anything remarkable out of it.

"V. Surkov was the very charm and benevolence. He was keenly interested in how our work with the government apparatus is going, how the matter is moving with the examination of proposals at the Academy of Sciences. Is it not formal, is it not cool there to the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation?"

In the same message Maxim Kalashnikov shared how carefully he was preparing for a responsible meeting. "Very tired. But I am satisfied – the system is slowly moving from its place. The work ahead is up to shit. If only I had enough strength..."

But the step was taken!

In early 2011, the writer became a member of the initiative group "Russia 2045". "I join the project and become its active participant," he writes on the official website of the movement. – Moreover, I see in it a continuation of the ideas that I put forward in the book "Superman speaks Russian", in the "Third Project" and in the "Future of Humanity".

Maxim Kalashnikov is said to have been greatly impressed by the discovery of John Capri Jr., a professor of mechanics at Philadelphia University. An American scientist investigated a video recording made in Lenin's Mausoleum. This footage was allegedly taken in the dead of night by a surveillance camera several years ago and posted on the Internet. The recording clearly shows how the leader, lying in the sarcophagus, suddenly raises his left arm, stretches his whole body forward and falls back.

"We were amazed by the results. Our specialists could not find even a hint of photomontage: no layering, pre-painting, inserting frames and the like. Moreover, the figures of the storyboard and the time "running" at the top of the screen are one hundred percent in line with the standards used by cameras in the Mausoleum," John Capri described the sensational results of his research.

Russian communists, skeptical of everything supernatural, reacted with unprecedented enthusiasm to the message that Lenin comes to life at night…

And in June 2011, Maxim Kalashnikov, in an interview with the online publication Novy Region, said that Russia needs a new Stalin, and "there will be a dictatorship in any case." He does not see Putin as a candidate for the role of dictator. Putin, in the writer's harsh words, is a "dictator of degradation," "Putin's regime is not a dictatorship, but rather a junta."

Futurologist Kalashnikov undoubtedly signed and executes Stalin's futures.

Steven Seagal and Dmitry Itskov, on the contrary, made their choice of the first candidate for immortality in favor of Putin, which threatens to split the young movement "Russia 2045".

Partners in ImmortalityItskov is a friend and partner of Seagal.

The partnership could have arisen in 2009, when the Hollywood superman came to Russia to "collect material" for the filming of a film about Emelyan Pugachev and Stenka Razin. As a friend, Itskov showed himself during a sexual scandal that broke out in the spring of 2010.

23-year-old model Kayden Nguyen accused Seagal of sexual harassment and human trafficking. Nguyen claimed that Seagal brought her to his home in New Orleans, where he "subjected her to obscene caresses and forced her to watch him make love to two Russian girls, one of whom was named Sasha."

The actor categorically refused to communicate with the press. And only to the Russian online newspaper "Vzglyad.<url>"managed to find out the background of the scandal by talking "with a friend of the actor who was at Segal's house in New Orleans during the events described." This friend, it is easy to guess, was Dima Itskov.

– The fact is that Stephen's house is a relatively small building with excellent audibility, – said Itskov. – I can't imagine how anyone can be held there. And besides, police representatives come to the house almost every day – Stephen invites them to guard the house when he leaves for filming, since he has no security. He doesn't even have a fence there. How can anyone be held there?

According to the president of the Russian corporation Newmedia Stars, Kayden Nguyen was fired for drug use.

Soon, a Los Angeles court rejected a claim of sexual harassment by actor Steven Seagal against Thai model Kayden Nguyen.

This is how men's friendship is tested in the hour of trials!

Of course, the publication in the "View.ru" could hardly put pressure on the Los Angeles court. And hardly anyone in America was interested in the fact that the Newmedia Stars corporation includes two online publications – the aforementioned "View.<url>" and " <url>". But against the background of "immortality", this fact seemed extremely curious.

It turns out that Newmedia Stars publications promoted the "post-apocalyptic" book project "Metro 2033", filled with "underground atomic horrors in Moscow" and general destruction. And now, a few years later, the hellish trend has changed to the opposite, heavenly.

It is impossible to solve this puzzle if you do not introduce into history the third activist of "Russia 2045" – the real mastermind and creator of Newmedia Stars, State Duma deputy Konstantin Rykov, who is also considered the guru of the Runet (Russian Internet). However, in an interview, Itskov once remarked: "Dmitry Medvedev, Vladimir Putin, Konstantin Rykov and United Russia did not know about the preparation of the project before its launch, so please do not accuse anyone of cutting and preparing for the election campaign."

But now all of them – Dmitry Medvedev, Vladimir Putin, Konstantin Rykov and United Russia – are aware! And Rykov – before everyone else, since he officially joined the ranks of the movement "for immortality" back in February 2011.

Actually, Itskov was Rykov's assistant and junior partner for a long time, and the very name of the official organizer of Russia 2045 was first heard in the press in the fall of 2007, when the Internet community was shaken by a scandal called by some media the first raider seizure on the Network. The seizure began on September 12 at 3 a.m., the technical director of the Stork company, who two years before the high-profile incident created the game "Watches" based on the trilogy of Sergei Lukyanenko, told reporters.

The developers of this popular Internet game by pressing a couple of keys lost their share in the company, which brought up to $ 280 thousand per month. "Dmitry Itskov, the CEO of the online newspaper Vzglyad, became the 100 percent owner of Dozory LLC," an influential business newspaper wrote at the time. About a year before the scandal, the owner of the company publishing <url>, Konstantin Rykov, purchased 50% of the shares of Dozor for $ 100 thousand…

The lawyer of the injured party called the scheme of this seizure "incompetent": "It was actively used until 2000, but now it is quite rare. This scheme usually falls under Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "fraud", and on average they give eight years in prison for it ..."Virtual players staged a collective trip to the "Livejournal" of the user (user) Rykov (real_rykov) protested, but in the end the "deed" was done, and no one was sent to prison.

And that's when the Network started talking about the fact that, they say, Rykov has a trusted person – a former classmate from "Pleshka" – provincial Dima Itskov.

The genius of virtual affairsIt's not easy for me to reach you, but it's four steps to immortality…

  • Step One: "I earn as much per night as Yandex does in a year."

"And what about our twenty-year-old friends? They realized that the Internet is a great place to make money. And they decided to make money. And where did the main capitals come together then? Of course, on the porn industry and on hacking. At the same time, they began to offer serious people all sorts of ephemeral "Internet projects" and, as they say, to cut loot. The topic of the Internet was fashionable then."

This is how the famous Moscow journalist Andrey Malgin, founder of Stolitsa magazine, author of the pamphlet novel Adviser to the President, told about the beginning of Rykov's career.

– Rykov earned his initial capital on erotica and entertainment, and even on porn sites, – Malgin claimed. – He had a lot of them open: neznakomka.ru , aramis.ru , erotoman.ru , dosug.ru , ozornik.ru , popka.ru , persik.ru , stulchik.ru , ... Without hesitation, he opened them in his own name (and then in the name of his closest employees). His phrase, said at that time, was passed from mouth to mouth: "I earn as much per night as Yandex does in a year." And also: "Those who do not know how to earn money should go to the sucks."

The Vedomosti newspaper published Rykov's biography in a more lapidary form, mentioning this period of his life as follows: "In 1998, he created a youth Internet project (Fack.ru ) – a website consisting of materials written using profanity and without observing the rules of the Russian language. The creator of a number of entertainment, erotic and pornographic sites."

  • Step two: "With the opening of Days, I discovered a new direction for myself – PR."

"Rykov, who, of course, is very talented, energetic and adventurous," Malgin writes, "was still a little behind his more creative friend, who declared himself a political strategist (also a fashionable topic), and whose services were unexpectedly in demand. But he also found a use for himself in this field.

I started with an information site dni.ru . The main problem for new sites is traffic fraud, i.e. an increase in visitor statistics – Kostya solved it to genius simply. I took and placed a banner of "days" on my own porn and entertainment resources like erotoman.ru or anekdotov.net . And the people fell down! Clicking on the enticing banner with a naked female booty went straight to the main page of the "news" site dni.ru . The main thing for the advertiser is the figure, right? And by attendance dni.ru they quickly overtook similar information resources that did not think to use such a simple way to catch up with attendance."

Vedomosti: "Since 2000 – producer of projects Goodoo.ru and X-radio, a political (pro-presidential) online publication <url>".

  • Step Three: "Introducing Rykov, the secretary of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of United Russia, Sergei Nekrasov, calls the 28-year-old Kostya nothing less than the "father of the Russian Internet."

Vedomosti: "Since December 2007 – Deputy of the State Duma; elected as part of the federal list of candidates nominated by the United Russia party. Member of the State Duma Committee on Science and High-Tech Technologies".

"In gratitude for this, Rykov is launching an unprecedented campaign on the Internet in favor of United Russia," Malgin sums up. "Padonkov blogs and Padonkov resources themselves, to the great surprise of their readers, decorated Putin's portraits and slogans "Glory to Russia"."

On my own behalf, I will add that the deputy's gratitude has not dried up so far. United Russia's Rykov wrote on his Twitter: "I have registered a VKontakte group – the All-Russian Popular Front. Join!" – literally a few minutes after Vladimir Putin's televised announcement about the creation of a new organization.

And the day before, the owner of New Media Stars announced in his blog about the creation of a new Internet division in the structures of United Russia…

Criteria of the Voodoo cult and pseudoscience...In February 2010, exactly one year before the creation of "Russia 2045", Rusnano Corporation decided to spend 700 million rubles on the development of "anti-aging pills" according to the methodology of academician-biologist Vladimir Skulachev.

The academician created a theory of changing the human genetic program. Evolution made a mistake, the scientist is convinced, by programming genes for aging and death. If the genetic code is reprogrammed, then a person will live for 500-700 years. On the way to immortality, the scientist invented drugs that can cure some diseases of the elderly, in particular, eye.

But even if they create an anti-aging pill, "a good half of the population will drink it with vodka, and the other half will die in queues at polyclinics to issue a prescription for it. The remaining part of the population may not have enough money," a wise provincial doctor wrote about this in his blog.

As the Egyptian pharaohs, regardless of expenses, erected cyclopean structures – pyramids, so our government promotes megaprojects of eternal youth. The Politburo of the Central Committee of the CPSU of the Brezhnev era, as you know, invested a lot of money in gerontology. In Russia of the XXI century, Putin is said to personally control the development of drugs to prolong youth (Hollywood actor Segal also writes about this in a letter to the prime minister).

In the era of nanotechnology, the deification of power, the world of "gray pyramids" acquires caricature outlines.

Konstantin Severinov, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor at Rutgers University (USA), head of the laboratory of the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, told Grigory Nekhoroshev, deputy editor-in-chief of "Top Secret", that he has a feeling of "some kind of carnival" when the Russian press talks about the problems of life extension:

– In the end, Skulachev's global projects were reduced to drops against glaucoma. Immortality was forgotten when Oleg Deripaska stopped giving money.

About "Russia-2045" the editors of "Eternal Youth" fully agree with the author, and gossip about Stepan Sigalov and his friends looks very plausible, and about "Jonah Skulachev" is written here too tendentiously. Skulachev never talked about immortality, nor about 500-700 years, nor even swung at 150, and the results of preclinical studies of the drug developed under his leadership look very convincing. Very briefly, but clearly written about it, for example, here – VM.

(For reference: Oleg Deripaska funded Vladimir Skulachev's research until September 2008. Then, on the recommendation of Anatoly Chubais, the Rostock financial group undertook to sponsor the project. In February 2010, Rusnano joined. – A.Ch.)

– Did Deripaska believe in achieving immortality?

– There are many rich people with a relatively low level of education. They create a demand that generates a supply that meets to some extent the criteria of the Voodoo cult and pseudoscience.

Unfortunately, Russian biology is not able to conduct research in the field of aging at the global level. The science of the genetic roots of life expectancy is young. Research in this area is carried out on yeast, flies and worms. The phenomenon of controlled death was discovered in the course of fundamental research. Immortality is a fundamental scientific question, not a practical one. The utilitarian approach to this problem, characteristic of Russia, is anecdotal in nature. Remember, in the novel "The Heart of a Dog" Mikhail Bulgakov described how ovaries were transplanted…

So immortality in Russia has turned from a fundamental scientific problem into a way of subsistence for the poor, into an instrument of fraud for the rich and a sacred cult for the influential. High–ranking politicians and officials, oligarchs, political technologists, ordinary producers with candidates of economic sciences - they all made up the united front "Russia Immortal". Step four in the direction of "Putin" helps to make Chubais. (I wonder how many billions the Rusnano Corporation will eventually write off for immortality?) A brilliant win-win project, known in the world even before the Pharaonic pyramids: either the donkey will die, or the padishah will die.
