Kazakh lawmakers banned cloning of people

QMS: the law on the prohibition of cloning amused Kazakhstanis

IA ZAKON.KZIn connection with the statement of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the criminal liability of citizens for human cloning, the office of the Union of Muslims of Kazakhstan (QMS) and the Muslim Committee for Human Rights in Central Asia (IACHR CA) receive a huge number of appeals.

Citizens are outraged by the amateurish approach to this problem of the staff of the Prosecutor General's Office, who, apparently, have very superficial ideas about the level of development of science in the country, the press service of the QMS reports.

The Kazakh media wrote about this bio–legal incident yesterday - something like this:

Human cloning will be criminalized in KazakhstanResponsibility for medical crimes is provided for in the draft Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, KazTAG reports with reference to the head of the 1st Department of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan Almaz Mukhamedzhanov.

"A novel can also be called the allocation of a special chapter of all medical crimes. Taking into account the provisions of the code "On Health", responsibility for human cloning is provided," Mukhamedzhanov said at a meeting of the public council at the Prosecutor General's Office on Wednesday.

For illegal cloning as part of an organized scientific criminal group, a prison sentence of up to 12 years is threatened. Single scientists for human cloning will face only 5 years in prison.

According to Muslim leaders, today domestic specialists are not able to clone even the most primitive biological organisms. To speak in such conditions about cloning people, to put it mildly, is immodest.

However, if the Prosecutor General's Office still insists on preventive measures, the leadership of the QMS and the IHRC of Central Asia suggests continuing innovation in the same spirit and adopting the following legislative acts:

  1. It is forbidden for citizens of Kazakhstan to communicate with aliens and provide housing for rent without the permission of the Akimat and the Migration Police;
  2. It is forbidden to exceed the speed of light on aircraft of domestic production without the permission of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  3. It is forbidden to enter into intimate relations with a snowman without the permission of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  4. It is forbidden to grow crops on the Moon without the permission of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In order to demonstrate to the world community the determination and integrity of the Prosecutor General's Office, violators of the above laws should be imprisoned for a period of at least 150 years.
