Another pension calculator: if you want, reap...

New formula for calculating pensions

RBS MoneyTo imagine what this formula will give, we will calculate a pension for someone who earns 15 thousand rubles a month (half of the population of the Russian Federation receives less than this amount.

– Example 1) and 47.3 thousand rubles. (this is the threshold – deductions to the FIU do not go from a salary above this, which means that a large salary does not affect the pension amount. – Example 2).

Let's take into account that these people have worked for 30 years. For the calculation, let's take today's indicators to at least roughly imagine what we will get on our hands. Of course, in 2015 the pension amount may be higher, but the cost of goods and services will increase in the same, if not greater proportion.

This formula does not increase the wealth of pensioners and makes the calculation even less transparent. But no one guarantees that officials will not want to change this calculation option in a couple of years to something even more abstract.…

Expert opinion
Andrey Pudov, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Russia:
– In the new pension formula, which will work from 2015, pension rights are taken into account in points. The maximum number of points for the year you will have with an annual salary at the level of the limit with which contributions to the FIU are paid. In 2013 – 568 thousand rubles per year. With a salary twice as low, there will be half as many points. How many points have accumulated at the moment, everyone will be able to specify on the portal of public services or in the territorial office of the FIU, since rubles will be reflected on individual personal accounts, as now, and the number of points earned for work. The pension can be calculated by simply multiplying this number of points by the cost of one point. And this indicator will be established annually by a regulatory legal act and published in all media. Approximately in 2015 it will be 500 rubles. Premium coefficients are provided for those who postpone retirement. That is, if you postponed retirement for a year, then the pension amount will increase by 6.6%, for 5 years – almost 1.5 times, for 10 – more than 2 times.
