The exhibition "Integration. Life. Society". Manufacturers have presented a lot of devices that make life easier for the disabled.

At the opening of the exhibition, one could not only hear the Russian anthem, but also see it. Young artists of the ensemble of the hard of hearing performed the anthem with their hands and sign language. There are a lot of useful things on the stands in the Expocentre's great hall for people with hearing, vision and wheelchair users.

About 20 Russian and several foreign manufacturers of rehabilitation equipment showed the latest developments that make life more comfortable for people with disabilities. Reutovsky Experimental Plant of prosthetics of the Ministry of Labor of Russia – presented prosthetic and orthopedic products and semi-finished products made of high-tech polymer materials that allow you to regulate heat and air exchange. At the Mercury enterprise, two types of ladders are made from Togliatti – "Leopard" and "Puma". Equipped with wheelchairs, the devices allow you to easily overcome any stairs.

Nizhny Novgorod prosthetic and orthopedic enterprise of the Ministry of Labor is proud of its ramps made of steel and aluminum of rectangular or curved shape. These are lightweight structures, some of them with ladders that allow patients to learn how to use a prosthesis with daily loads. The dimensions of the ramps are determined by the customer. In addition, Nizhny Novgorod residents also make tactile floor slabs for navigation of visually impaired and completely blind people. The slabs have a rough, corrugated surface with anti-slip properties, it differs in structure and color from the adjacent surface of the road or floor covering. Warning plates allow visually impaired people to avoid dangers on their way – cone-shaped and square reefs give signals "Attention, underpass" or "Attention, traffic light". The guide plates provide the opportunity to move independently in the right direction – they have diagonal and longitudinal corrugation, which gives the signals "Attention, ground crossing" and "Attention, turn".

The Observer company from Kaliningrad has developed a unique mechanism for transferring the center of gravity of the seat for an all-wheel-drive wheelchair-all-terrain vehicle. The gyroscope-adjustable vertical stabilization of the seat when the chassis slopes allows the stroller to move up stairs, overcoming a slope of up to 35 degrees. There are no analogues in the world of such a product.

Special equipment allows disabled people to participate in sports life.

The Moscow company "Dokmed" manufactures simulators for wheelchair users, enabling them to regularly take an upright position. The devices are equipped with a unique function of strength training and cardio training, which improve the functioning of internal organs and the cardiovascular system. Portable systems have also been developed in the capital, designed to seamlessly transfer people from a wheelchair to a car, to a bed or chair.

Specialists of the company "Ortho-Cosmos" demonstrated at the exhibition a miracle device - an innovative orthopedic device for both legs with a corset, allowing people with paralysis of the lower extremities to get back on their feet and walk. The device controls the movement of a person, focusing on the slightest changes in balance, and creates a natural gait.

Orthopedic devices with a semi-corset make it possible to move around
people with lower limb paralysis.

The exhibition featured not only adaptive chairs and crawler lifts, devices for inclusive education and a non-contact musical instrument, tactile–sound mnemonic circuits used at airports and absolutely invisible hearing aids, but also live exhibits - dogs from the Russian Center for Guide Dogs. Animals are able to memorize several dozen routes and at the command – the name of the final destination, accurately drive the blind, carefully watching the road, avoiding pits, puddles and ledges.

A special place is occupied by the stand of the Russian movement "Abilimpix". It is part of an international movement to support the employment of people with disabilities. The organization helps to organize Olympiads of abilities for people with disabilities in a variety of professional fields.
