Men's Health Week

The annual Men's Health Week, organized by the expert portal, will begin on May 12 OchenProsto.ru with the support of the company "Eli Lilly". This time the main topic of discussion will be... male bravery. After all, it is often the avoidance of problems and the fear of discussing them even with a doctor that becomes the main reason for the destruction of previously harmonious family relationships.

During the week we will talk about men's sexual health, provide everyone with qualified advice from specialists. The leading urologists of Russia will help us in this.

The Week of Men's Health will be opened by the All–Russian interactive Urological Forum, which will be devoted to topical problems of urology and modern methods of treatment of two main male problems - erectile dysfunction and impaired urination in patients with prostate adenoma. Actor and TV presenter Leonid Yarmolnik, Chief urologist of Russia D.Y. Pushkar, MD, Professor E.I. Veliyev, with the support of charming Irena, will discuss an important psychological problem for fun: how to convince a man to be treated.

Statistics show that problems related to intimate disorders are extremely common among modern men. One of the most common diseases of the male sexual sphere is erectile dysfunction (ED) and prostate adenoma (benign prostatic hyperplasia, BPH). According to existing estimates, today more than 50% of men over the age of 40 experience problems associated with erectile dysfunction. In addition, many of those who are faced with the problem of ED are also faced with urinary disorders caused by BPH – studies show that there is a relationship between these diseases. In most cases, ED and BPH are amenable to effective drug treatment, and it is especially important to start it in a timely manner.

During the Week, you will be able to learn not only how to cope with violations of sexual function and maintain your male health, but also about what sexual age is and what factors affect its duration.

You can ask your question on March 26 from 23:00 to 24:00 on the radio "Silver Rain" (100.1 FM) live on the program "Sex, life and other surprises" with the participation of the chief urologist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Medical Sciences D.Y. Pushkar, as well as on March 29 from 15:00 to 17:00 (Moscow time) using the hotline 8-800-200-36-36 (toll-free for all regions of Russia), contact the Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Urology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences A.A. Medvedev.

Men's Health Week is a unique opportunity to directly contact a qualified specialist and anonymously get advice, thereby taking the first step towards solving their problems and preserving full–fledged family relationships.

These problems are considered inconvenient to discuss even with the closest people, they are avoided by the media – that is, the person who faces them is left alone with his trouble. More precisely, it seems so to him. However, the results of our study say something else: 100% of women reported that they are ready to support a man in the fight against these delicate problems. Unfortunately, practice shows that Russian men do not trust their partners. "In Russia, only 15% of men diagnosed with prostate adenoma come to the doctor together with women," D.Y. Pushkar said.

As part of the Men's Health Week portal OchenProsto.ru He plans to fight the general conspiracy of silence and calls on journalists, doctors and ordinary people to share information about men's sexual health with others.
