Women have hormones, men have work

Women's sexuality is influenced by pills, men's by work
Irina Vlasova, GZT.RUBirth control pills have changed the sexual preferences of modern women, and these changes may not serve humanity well, according to a study published by the journal Trends in Ecology and Evolution.

Hormones contained in oral contraceptives affect the subconscious choice of sexual partners, suppressing a woman's interest in men of the "macho" type, and, conversely, increase the attractiveness of "gentle young men" for them. The more a woman takes contraceptives, the more often and more strongly she is drawn to the second type, says co-author of the study, Alexandra Olvergne from the laboratory of the University of Sheffield.

Women's sexual preferences vary depending on the day of the menstrual cycle. During ovulation, ladies prefer more masculine men, as well as men who are most unlike this woman in genetic terms: this gives great chances for the birth of healthy offspring. On days when conception is impossible, women prefer infantile partners with a more effeminate appearance. But women taking contraceptives avoid ovulation, so they are not attracted to "macho".

By the way, the attractiveness of a woman in the eyes of men also suffers from pills. Partners look especially attractive to men during their ovulation, when a woman is ready for fertilization. Thanks to evolution, the female body notifies men of its readiness with a special smell. And that's why strippers get maximum tips during ovulation.

Profession deforms sex

As for the sexuality of the stronger sex, it can be significantly influenced by the profession of a man. According to Russian sexologists Nikolai Oleynikov and Nikolai Naritsyn, the place of work can leave an indelible imprint on a person's libido.

In surveys, 13% of women said that they prefer managers as a sexual partner. According to psychologists, these people combine the ability to anticipate the situation with the ability to navigate the situation, sociability and contact with reliability. However, their sexual problems may be due to intelligence: the higher it is, the more problems there are. Working voltage contributes to the development of impotence.

The professions of mathematics and physics contribute to the exacerbation of schizoid character traits. Men – representatives of these professions are very complex as intimate partners, closed, uncommunicative. It is difficult for them to get acquainted, to establish understanding, including in bed. Psychologists write that they can experience displeasure during the maximum of excitement.

Intimate difficulties of computer scientists are also associated with a mathematical mindset, psychologists say. It is easier for such a person to communicate with something that can be controlled than with a living person. This violates harmony in the intimate sphere. In addition, computers have surrogate sex, and people sometimes search for partners via the Internet.

Everyone whose professions are related to management and working with people (teachers, managers, military personnel) often lose their spiritual subtlety, aesthetic sense.

People involved in politics, social work, coaches, leaders of tourist groups and rescue teams, people of liberal professions often sin with numerous connections, but with every woman there are short time. Often they like quick sex "in between". They get to know each other easily because their sociability and activity are high. They get excited quickly, and sex with them ends just as quickly, psychologists believe.

Men working in rooms with high temperatures (for example, in hot workshops) have a negative effect of high temperature on the quality of sperm and reduced potency. Road workers and builders dealing with jackhammers also have problems. Representatives of these professions suffer from a "vibration disease", which is fraught with impotence, and drivers from a constant sedentary lifestyle are also threatened by prostatitis.

Partners whose professions are related to research – doctors, lawyers, psychologists, experimental scientists - are very careful in sex, as in life. Most of all they are afraid of female rejection. For representatives of professions that require wide communication (artists, reporters, teachers, salesmen), as psychologists say, any fame and admiration for them is important. In sex, for them, the external side of emotions can become an end in itself. Such personalities quickly get bored of measured, monotonous sex. A large number of partners are not hypersexuality, but their dissatisfaction with "ordinary" sex.

Athletes, police officers, military easily navigate in a changing situation. Their sexual reactions will be simple, say sexologists. There is a possibility of contact – it will be, no, there are no special problems with abstinence.

Financiers, machinists, pilots tend to appreciate the stability of partnerships, but they often treat sexual life as just a physiological need.
