The "swine flu" vaccine is already being sold!

Fraudsters selling swine flu vaccine have appeared in Petrozavodsk. This was reported to Rosbalta by the press service of the city hall.

The reception of the Committee on health, Ecology and social protection of the Petrozavodsk administration received information that on September 3, strangers knocked on the door of a resident of the city and offered to introduce a vaccine against "swine flu" on a paid basis.

The health department of the city administration issued a warning, explaining that it is not yet possible to get vaccinated against the disease in the capital of Karelia. At the moment, the vaccine is being tested, its appearance is expected in October-November 2009.

As previously reported, clinical trials of the influenza A/H1N1 vaccine will begin approximately on September 8. It is planned to produce 20 million doses of the vaccine, the budget has already been allocated. This amount is enough to vaccinate almost a third of the Russian population.

The mass release of the vaccine is planned in November – before the beginning of the seasonal rise in the incidence of common influenza and SARS in the country.
