Biology is the science of the XXI century
Over three hundred young scientists will present their scientific works at the 21st International School-Conference "Biology – Science of the XXI Century"

The 21st International School Conference is being held in the Pushchino Science City from April 17 to 21 in the Large Conference Hall of the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

This year, about 300 students, undergraduates, postgraduates and young candidates of sciences from more than 50 cities of Russia and abroad, from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to Chisinau, will make presentations. In total, more than 500 people will take part in the conference events, more than 250 scientists will listen to lectures in absentia. The lecturers of the conference are leading Russian and world scientists, Doctors of Sciences and academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Young scientists will speak at a meeting of ten sections: biochemistry, ecology, molecular biology, biophysics and bioinformatics, biomedicine and biopharmaceutics, microbiology and virology, soil science and agroecology, biotechnology and instrumentation, animal physiology and fundamental biomedicine, plant physiology and photobiology.
Associate Professor of Moscow State University and editor of the anthropogenesis portal.<url> Stanislav Drobyshevsky will talk about the latest discoveries in the origin of man, and the head of the Elizaveta Rivkina will dedicate the Laboratory of Soil Cryology of the IFHiBPP RAS to the unexplored world of permafrost microbes.
The Conference will include a round table "Translational technologies in Medicine" and a workshop "HealthNet Market: a request for a Breakthrough" organized by the National Technology Initiative. At the round table, experts of the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industry will talk about the most important aspects of the market today in the format of lectures. The chairman of the pharmaceutical cluster of the Moscow region "Farm Valley" Professor Arkady Murashev will give a lecture on "Preclinical research in the Russian Federation". Specialists of the Center for Preclinical Research will tell about the most important segment of modern medicine "Red Biotechnologies". This is a unique opportunity to learn about the most promising areas that will receive state support in the coming decades.
The conference was organized by the Pushchino Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the ITEB RAS, the Interfaculty Scientific and Educational Center of Moscow State University in Pushchino with the support of the FANO of Russia, as well as with the support of Skoltech, MERCK, Bioline LLC, BIOCAD, Okabiolab, Bio-Rad LLC Laboratories", LLC "Sartorius Steadim RUS", LLC "Center for preclinical testing", Axiom-BIO.
