Healthy aging

The interregional conference "Healthy aging and age-associated diseases" will be held in UNN on February 21, 2021.

The conference will be attended by the chief geriatrician of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Olga Tkacheva.

The conference was organized by Lobachevsky University, the Ministry of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Russian Gerontological Research and Clinical Center of the Federal State Educational Institution VO "Russian National Research Medical University named after N. I. Pirogov" of the Ministry of Health of Russia.

The conference will be attended by: Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Minister of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod Region David Melik-Huseynov, Chief Geriatrician of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Olga Tkacheva, Rector of UNN, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Elena Zagainova, leading Russian and foreign experts, heads and representatives of medical organizations of the Nizhny Novgorod region, etc.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss topical issues of fundamental research and clinical practice in the field of healthy aging and active longevity, as well as to exchange the unique experience of leading experts with world renown.

The conference will be held in a mixed format on the basis of the Center for Innovative Development of Lobachevsky University at Nizhny Novgorod, Gagarin Ave., 25.

It is planned to discuss modern possibilities of aging management, topical issues of healthy aging and active longevity, age-associated diseases and features of treatment of elderly and senile patients.
