MMIF-2019: results

On November 26, 2019, at the III International Medical Investment Forum, representatives of government, science, business, financial institutions and consulting structures discussed the most important aspects of the investment component of public-private partnership, insurance, scientific developments and discoveries in the field of medicine, the export of medical services, the development of telemedicine, attracting international investors, providing consulting services to startups and more.

First Deputy Chairman of the SF Committee on Social Policy Igor Kagramanyan greeted all the delegates of the Forum and gave the floor to Karelova G.N., Glybochko P.V. and Morozov D.A.

The Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council announced the greeting of the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko to the organizers, participants and guests of the event. "The Forum is an authoritative expert platform for discussing topical issues of creating a favorable investment climate, improving competitiveness in healthcare," the greeting says.

The Forum received greetings from representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Federal Service for Healthcare Supervision, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Business Russia and Rostec Corporation.

Galina Karelova took part in the opening of the exhibition, which presented the latest scientific developments, modern technologies, startups in the field of medicine.

The exhibition was decorated with the exposition of the company "Roche", which was a Special partner of the Forum.

Solemn ceremonies were held on the sidelines of the Forum:

  • donation to Sechenov University by Merck of the MagPix system for the analysis of markers in biological fluids;
  • signing of the agreement of Sechenov University with the company "Protek" on the launch of the project Sechenov.pro .

During the Plenary session, great interest was aroused by the report of A.G. Rumyantsev on achievements in the field of diagnosis and treatment of oncological diseases in children and the situation in Russian healthcare, where a minimum percentage of extra-budgetary funds is spent on science, the report of the head of the WHO European Office, Dr. Joao Breda, on the importance of investments in the prevention of NCDs as a factor in increasing life expectancy, the speech of the Minister of Health Kaluga region Baranova K.N. about the experience of investments in the modernization of the regional model on the example of the Kaluga region. During the Session, a discussion was held on the role of private healthcare (in the field of obstetrics and gynecology) and the competitive situation that develops between private and public medicine in the matter of attracting a patient.

Within the framework of the Forum, thematic Sessions were held in various areas, which contained both deeply scientific reports on projects implemented in the practice of healthcare, and startups and discoveries that need support from investors were presented.

At the end of the Forum, a lottery was held for the participants, where each 3rd participant received prizes from Mesopharm, K-31 Clinic, HBP-group Clinic, Real Trans Hair, Westmed Dental Clinic.
