OPENBIO Open Communications Platform is a complex of events dedicated to the commercialization of ideas and business development in the field of life sciences:
- Forum for Business, Science, Government and Infrastructure
- Scientific conference of young molecular biologists, virologists and biotechnologists. Traditionally, the installation lectures are given by leading foreign and Russian scientists.

Within the framework of the topics of the scientific conference:
- Virology. Virologists present works with the results of studies of the structure, biochemistry, systematics, genetics, reproduction of viruses, their interaction with cells, as well as their significance in human life. Researchers study and develop methods for detecting, controlling and using human, animal, plant, and bacterial viruses.
- Biotechnology. The work of scientists in this section is based on the idea of using biological processes in the interests of industry, science, technology and, in general, the development of society. The efforts of scientists are aimed at developing methods and techniques for obtaining biologically active compounds (enzymes, hormones, amino acids, vaccines, medicines, etc.), designing molecules of new substances and creating forms of organisms, as well as solving a number of environmental and medical problems.
- Molecular biology. The Molecular Biology section is attended by scientists whose subject of study is the biophysical and biochemical molecular mechanisms of processes in a living cell. Thanks to micro- and nanoscopic methods of research of biological objects, it became possible not only to monitor intracellular processes at the molecular level, but also to manage them.
