Pushchino will host the 24th International Pushchino School‑Conference of Young Scientists "Biology – Science of the XXI century"
The school-conference of young scientists "Biology – science of the XXI century" is a large-scale event in the field of biology. The event is scheduled for October 5-7 on the basis of FITC PNCBI RAS, ITEB RAS and IB RAS.
The International School-Conference "Biology - Science of the 21st century" in Pushchino is one of the largest events for scientific youth in Russia. It gathers about a thousand graduate students and students of biological universities who come to listen to lectures by world scientists, get acquainted with the prospects and the latest achievements in the field of physico-chemical biology.
The participants of the conference will be representatives of a large number of cities in Russia, near and far abroad (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Great Britain, Germany, China, USA, Finland and France).
This event is intended primarily to support young scientists and specialists working in various fields of biology and biotechnology.
The school conference is attended by young scientists, graduate students, students and high school students, as well as entrepreneurs in the field of high-tech business. The age of the participants submitting abstracts is up to 35 years inclusive. At the same time, everyone can become a listener, the age of this category is not limited.
The conference program will traditionally include lectures by leading Russian and foreign scientists, oral and poster presentations by participants, master classes, scientific competitions, reports and presentations by commercial organizations.
The conference participants will be able to get acquainted with the work of the institutes of the Pushchino Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and visit the laboratories of research institutes.
The conference traditionally takes place within the framework of plenary sessions for all participants and specialized sections, each of which is attended by lecturers and experts in this field, thematic events and competitions are also held.
This year, the following specialized sections will be presented at the 24th International Pushchina School-Conference: biotechnology and instrumentation, biomedicine and biopharmaceutics, biophysics and bioinformatics, biochemistry, microbiology and virology, molecular biology, soil science and agroecology, animal physiology and fundamental biomedicine, plant physiology and photobiology, ecology.
