St. Petersburg International Conference on Nanobiotechnology

November 27-29, 2006
Saint-Petersburg
Russia

The International Conference on Nanobiotechnology is dedicated to the interdisciplinary field, which, according to experts, is a modern leader in terms of prospects and development rates. Literally over the past two years, the topic of "nanobio" has become an independent conference from the already established and numerous conferences on nanotechnology and biotechnology. At the current stage of the direction's formation, these conferences serve as a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and the development of a new scientific paradigm. Holding the first such conference in Russia is extremely relevant both from the point of view of determining the priorities of scientific development and participation in the formation of international research networks on nanobiotechnology. It will discuss the possibilities of cooperation for participation in the projects of the 7th Framework Program of the European Community and grants from the US National Institutes of Health.
