Startup Village – 2018

It is expected that 20 thousand people from 80 countries will participate in the sixth annual event. The founders of startups will meet with the world's leading accelerators, unicorn companies, investors, large technology corporations and government representatives to discuss current trends and present innovative ideas.
The business program includes more than 150 interactive sessions and master classes dedicated to the formation of new markets, the transformation of business models and the integration of breakthrough technologies into business practice. Startup Village participants will be able to plan their communication with experts in advance. To do this, the organizers of the conference have developed a convenient appointment service – SUV Matchmaking.
The selection of the best startups will take place at the "Competition of early-stage projects" and "Competition of companies". The participants of the first event will be budding technology entrepreneurs. They will compete in four areas: information technology, biomedicine, energy efficiency and energy conservation, as well as industrial technologies. The winner will receive 2 million rubles for the development of the project.
Experienced market players with revenue of at least 1 million rubles a year will participate in the "Competition of Companies". The most promising developments will be identified in 19 areas, including digital technologies in business, manufacturing, finance and media, digital healthcare, and energy-efficient transport. The main prize is 5 million rubles. Applications for participation in the competitions will be accepted on May 13.
The conference will also include Startup Bazaar, an exhibition of projects where young teams will present promising Russian developments from prototypes to finished products. This year, 200 startups will take part in the exhibition.
In 2017, the Startup Village conference gathered over 20 thousand guests from 80 countries. The event was attended by 4,500 startups, 1,000 investors, 490 journalists and 350 semi-finalists of the competition. In total, more than 1,000 applications were submitted for the contest of teams and ideas.
