In 2020, the hackathon will be held for the fourth time.

The hackathon is scheduled for March 27 – 29, 2020.

Hackathon goals:

  • popularization of bioinformatics in Russia
  • interdisciplinary communication of young specialists in technical and biological fields
  • formation of the bioinformatic community in St. Petersburg
  • development of promising ideas and IT solutions in the field of biology and modern medicine.

Details about the event:

  • the hackathon lasts 48 hours: from Friday to Sunday
  • the size of the teams is from 3 to 5 people
  • the final distribution by teams is on the opening day of the hackathon after the project presentations
  • the organizers provide all participants with full meals, comfortable working conditions and round-the-clock access to the site.

Biologists, doctors, programmers and mathematicians interested in bioinformatics are invited to participate in the hackathon.

The competitive selection of participants is based on applications submitted before March 5, 2020.
