Breakthrough into the future – 2021
The XVI All–Russian Olympiad "Nanotechnology - a breakthrough into the future!" continues the traditions of the Olympiad held since 2007. Every year, about 10,000 schoolchildren, students, postgraduates, young scientists, and teachers take part in the Olympiad. The Olympiad is organized by Lomonosov Moscow State University.
For several years, the Nanotechnology Olympiad has been the 1st (highest) level Olympiad from the list of the Russian Council of School Olympiads, which provides applicants from the Russian Federation and a number of CIS countries with the opportunity to enroll in universities of the Russian Federation on preferential terms.
The XVI Olympiad is included in the list of school Olympiads for the 2021/22 academic year, approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, at number 9 and has the first level in four subjects: chemistry, physics, mathematics, biology (profile – nanotechnology).
The Olympiad includes a number of competitions that will allow any participant to maximize their strength, knowledge, experience and creativity. Most competitions are held in two stages: the qualifying (correspondence Internet tour) and the final.
To prepare potential participants for the events of the XVI Olympiad, a Correspondence Scientific and Technological School - ZNTS'2021 has been organized, which precedes the start of the qualifying stage competitions.
The main theoretical round of the Olympiad for schoolchildren is held in the complex of subjects "chemistry, physics, mathematics and biology". Additional points to the main competition can be obtained by answering questions in the format of tests on subjects within the framework of the ZNTS'2021.
A separate competition of project works of schoolchildren is held – "Brilliant thoughts". For the youngest schoolchildren, there is a competition "Young Polymath".
The Universiade, a unique competition designed to support talented youth, motivate further development of a research career, promote scientific knowledge, actively involve participants in the exchange of opinions and equal competition with their peers and colleagues at the international level, has been organized for students of non-admission and final courses, bachelors, masters, postgraduates, young scientists (under 35 years old). level, as well as admission to the master's program of Moscow State University without exams.
Participants who have passed the correspondence selection in the competitions "Brilliant Thoughts" and "Universiade" will be invited to the Spring Project School-Conference of the Higher School of Economics'2022, which will be organized in a remote format in the spring of 2022.
All winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad will receive official diplomas, valuable prizes and gifts.
Participation in the Olympiad at all stages is free of charge.
