Competition "Medicine-2017"
The Foundation for the Promotion of Innovation announces the start of the selection of projects carried out by small innovative enterprises in the field of medicine
The Medicine-2017 contest is aimed at supporting developed enterprises that have a positive business reputation and experience in selling high-tech products on the market, but feel the need to conduct additional R&D to improve work efficiency by diversifying their production, creating and developing new markets for medical products.
The result of the project should be a new product in the field of medicine, ready for commercialization immediately after receiving the registration certificate of Roszdravnadzor.
The main parameters of the competition:

The direction of expenses is the implementation of R&D on one of the topics proposed by leading medical research centers (Novosibirsk Research Institute of Circulatory Pathology named after Academician E.N. Meshalkin, Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center, Federal Research and Clinical Center of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and immunology im. Dmitry Rogachev", FSBI "Central Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics named after N.N. Priorov", FSBI "SZFMITS named after V.A. Almazov", FSBI "NCAGiP named after V.I. Kulakov").

The amount of the grant is not more than 20 million rubles (but not more than 15 million rubles per year), subject to co–financing from extra-budgetary funds in the amount of at least 50% of the grant amount. At the same time, at least 50% of the volume of co–financing should be shown during the R&D period, the remaining part - within a year after the completion of R&D.

The duration of the project is from 24 to 36 months (including the R&D period – 12-18 months).

Participants are small enterprises in accordance with Federal Law No. 209–FZ of 24.07.2007, which do not have open contracts with the Fund.
According to the results of R & D by the grantee, the following results should be achieved:

intellectual property has been created, the rights to which must be registered in accordance with the Civil Code of the Russian Federation for the recipient of the grant (during the R&D period);

a set of documentation has been prepared and submitted to the authorized body for obtaining a registration certificate for the created medical products (within 1 year after the completion of R&D);

the volume of sales of innovative products created as a result of the project, including from the patent and licensing activities of the MIP, funded by the grant received, should be at least 50 million rubles (this result should be achieved within 3 years after the closure of the grant agreement), including at least 50% of the products should be implemented by Russian medical institutions.
