Development of innovative technologies for obtaining nanoscale structures of organic substances

The Fund for Assistance to the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the scientific and Technical Sphere announces the implementation of the next cycle of the program "Participant of the youth scientific and Innovative competition" ("U.M.N.I.K.") for 2009.

The purpose of the competition is to identify young scientists seeking to self-actualize through innovative activities, and to stimulate mass participation of young people in scientific, technical and innovative activities through organizational and financial support for innovative projects.

The works selected by the expert commission will be published in the collection of reports of the All-Russian competition.

The Fund finances the implementation of R&D projects of the program participants.

The Fund allocates 200 thousand rubles per year for each participant of the Program (not including taxes and expenses for Project support by a small innovative enterprise).

The duration of the program "U.M.N.I.K." is 2 years. The decision to continue participation (transition) to the second year is made based on the results of the Program participant's work during the first year, provided that all the requirements of the Program are met.

The Program participants are selected based on materials and reports submitted by applicants during the Events.

The main directions of the competition:1. Theory of nanoscale structures.


2. Methods for obtaining nanoscale structures of organic substances.
3. Experimental studies of the properties of nanoscale organic substances.
4. Obtaining nanoscale structures of organic substances with a given percentage of components.
5. Areas of application of nanoscale structures of organic substances.

Reports and applications for participation are accepted from June 1, 2009 to September 10, 2009.

Requirements for the design of abstracts and reports:The reports should correspond to the subject of the contest directions and should be submitted in a volume of no more than 4 pages in electronic form on a 3.5A floppy disk, or in an electronic version (E-mail: kaf-fiziki-dstu@yandex.ru , fizika-dstu@rambler.ru ) and in printed form in 2 copies.

The file should be named by the surname of the first author and the first phrase of the title of the report.

Text format: Microsoft (version 6 or higher). A4 page format (210X297). Upper and lower margin – 2 cm; left – 3 cm; right – 1.5 cm. Font Times New Roman, size (size) – 14. Red line 1.27 cm. The line spacing is single. Width alignment. No more than two figures and tables are allowed in the text. Reports with non–grouped Worda drawings will not be accepted. The title of the reports (abstracts) is printed in the center in capital letters, the font is bold. A line is skipped. The initials and surname of the author(s) are indicated in lowercase letters. The next line is the full name and regalia of the scientific supervisor(s). Under them, without skipping the line, the name of the organization is indicated in lowercase letters. City. A line is skipped. The text of the report (theses) follows.

No registration fee is required.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject materials that do not correspond to the topic of the sections, as well as works from which the personal scientific contribution of the author is not clear.

Participants Of The Program "U.M.N.I.K."Individuals from 18 to 28 years old inclusive (students, postgraduates, young researchers) selected at events accredited by the Foundation (conferences, competitions, seminars, scientific schools).

Materials for participation in the competition are accepted from June 1, 2009 to September 10, 2009.
