Already today on the website http://rusformula.ru undergraduates, postgraduates and graduates of specialized universities, young scientists and entrepreneurs aged 18 to 33 from Moscow and the Moscow region can apply for participation in the program, gain new knowledge about business in the field of biotechnology, as well as the possibility of further commercialization of their project.

For the first time, the Formula Biotech program was held in 2016 on the basis of the MSU Science Park. Then 180 representatives of 28 leading Moscow universities became its participants. Students, graduates and young scientists of natural science and medical profiles were able to solve 53 business problems from the industrial partners of the program. 25 teams have created prototypes of real products, many of which are already on the market.

Launched this year, Formula Biotech 2018 will last 9 months and will include 5 areas: "Human Health", "Agriculture and Food", "Renewable Energy", "Environmental Technologies" and "Marine Bioresources".

The participants of the program who have passed the qualifying stage will have intensive teamwork on projects. Each team will be assigned one of the mentors of the program – an entrepreneur with experience in launching products in the field of biotechnology and medicine.

As a result of the successful completion of the Formula Biotech 2018, the finalist teams will not only be able to declare themselves, but also receive expert support from leading biotech companies, as well as assistance in applying for grants from the Foundation for the Promotion of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Field and other programs of development institutes for the further implementation of their projects.
