Literary Prize of 2022 in the field of medicine "Sanity"
Applications for the literary prize in the field of medicine "Sanity" will be accepted from March 9 to May 31, 2022.
The following works may be nominated for the Award in 2022:
for the first time published works devoted to the topics specified in the Regulations on the Award, signed to the press starting from March 1, 2021 to March 8, 2022 (inclusive). The circulation of the work nominated for the Award must exceed 1,000 (one thousand) copies;
books in electronic format devoted to the topics specified in the Award Regulations, issued and posted on industry websites (e-book libraries) in the period from March 1, 2021 to March 8, 2022 (inclusive).
The purpose of the Award is
popularization of biomedical knowledge in the Russian Federation,
support of medical activity and promotion of a healthy lifestyle,
fostering a culture of human health,
achievement of other socially useful goals.
Authors who write on the topic of health and a healthy lifestyle, about medicine and its discoveries, about doctors and their patients are invited to participate.
The Award is open to works by both Russian and foreign authors, translated and published in Russian. One author may be represented by any number of Works, if they comply with the terms of this Provision, including the publication period. The work may not be nominated for the Award again.
Works devoted to the following topics are allowed to participate in the Award:
medicine and healthcare;health and healthy lifestyle;
professional activity of doctors;
scientific discoveries and technologies in the field of medicine.
The Award does not establish restrictions for authors of Works by age, nationality, place of residence and place of publication of Works.
Within the framework of the Award, the following nominations are established:
· nomination "Recipe for Health" - popular books about health and a healthy lifestyle based on personal or professional experience, designed for a mass audience;
· nomination "Step Forward" - books about the history of medical science, its possibilities and discoveries based on evidence-based medicine;
· nomination "Aesculapius" - memoirs and biographies of doctors.
In each of the above nominations, 1 (One) winner and 2 (Two) finalists will be determined.
· the nomination "The best idea of the Book" is a special nomination for specialists and bloggers who promote a healthy lifestyle, health improvement methods and/or come up with ideas for new books.
In the nomination "The best idea of the Book" 1 (One) winner will be determined. The right to determine the winner may be granted to the partner of the Award at the discretion of the founders of the Award.
The following authors (co-authors) of the work, book publishers, professional medical institutions, members of the Board of Trustees, as well as members of the jury of the Award have the right to nominate works for the Award.
The nomination of the Work takes place on the Website of the Award at the first stage of the Award.
