Summer School "Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials"

All-Russian Summer School of the Fulbright Program
in the field of exact sciences and technologies "NANOTECHNOLOGIES AND NANOMATERIALS"

The All-Russian Summer school of the Fulbright program in the field of exact sciences and technologies will be held in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, from June 15 to 26, 2015. The summer school program includes lectures and practical classes with the participation of scientists in the field of nanotechnology. The participants of the summer school will get acquainted with various methods of obtaining and applying nanomaterials and the use of nanotechnology in various industries. Young specialists participating in the summer school will have the opportunity to communicate with major scientists in the field of nanotechnology, pass a laboratory workshop, take part in the discussion of various aspects of the use of nanomaterials and nanotechnology. The workshops will be held on the basis of scientific laboratories of the Kazan National Research Technological University (KNITU).

Postgraduates and undergraduates from all regions of Russia engaged in research in the field of nanomaterials and nanotechnology, as well as specialists in other fields of exact sciences and technologies (such as physics, chemistry, biology, biotechnology, various areas of mechanical engineering, etc.) who are interested in studying nanomaterials and nanotechnology for their further research. The age of participants is up to 30 years.

Applications for participation in the summer school are accepted until May 10, 2015. The selection of candidates will be based on the results of an open competition. To participate in the contest, please fill out the application form and send it to: nano2015@kstu.ru .

The results of the competition will be announced on May 25, 2015.

At the end of the summer school, all participants will receive a certificate of participation in the Fulbright Program Summer School on the topic "Nanotechnology and nanomaterials" on the basis of the KNITU.

The costs of participation in the summer school (including the use of laboratory equipment and materials, accommodation and meals for participants, transportation within the framework of the school) are borne by the organizers of the summer school.
