The terms of the contest for the best ideas in the field of regenerative medicine have been extended

The Foundation for Advanced Research announces the extension of the open competition for the best scientific hypotheses (innovative ideas) for the development of prototypes of breakthrough regenerative technologies within the framework of the foundation's projects. 

The dates of the first (qualifying) stage have been extended until March 31, 2019, the second (final) stage will be held from April 01 to April 30, 2019. Scientists and specialists who are able to plan and conduct breakthrough scientific research aimed at achieving qualitatively new results in the field of biomedicine are invited to participate in the competition.

The main purpose of the competition is to select the best scientific hypotheses (innovative ideas) in the field of biomedicine, including regenerative medicine and technologies for managing regeneration processes, as well as to select performers for breakthrough scientific research associated with a high degree of risk of achieving qualitatively new results, at the expense of the Advanced Research Fund.

As of October 31, 15 applications were received for the competition, 7 participants were admitted to the second stage.
