What miracle does the Prime Minister expect from the digitalization of the Russian Federation?

The Russian authorities, instead of improving working conditions in the country and increasing its productivity, are waiting for a technological miracle from the so-called "digitalization of the economy". This was stated to the correspondent of IA REGNUM on December 25 by an economic analyst at the Institute of Globalization and Social Movements Daniil Grigoriev, commenting on the statement of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev that the implementation of the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation" until 2024 will require almost two trillion rubles.

"These are the next attempts of the Russian government to get "God out of the car," Grigoriev said. – The Russian economy is proposed not to develop the methods that humanity has used for tens and hundreds of years – that is, it improved working conditions, increased its productivity and tried to integrate into profitable international chains of division of labor."

Instead, according to Grigoriev, the Russian authorities prefer to ride on top, skipping successive steps, and expect to immediately be at the top of the pyramid.

"Without developing industry, without improving education, without investing in healthcare and without doing anything at all," the expert stated. – It's funny that all these arguments come against the background of recent information that statistics on the situation in agriculture have been falsified in the Russian Federation for a number of years. As a result, the widely advertised growth of agriculture, which we constantly heard about, in fact turned out to be, if not absent, then much more modest."

According to the expert, the citizens of the Russian Federation are offered to believe in some incredibly progressive methods of accounting and government work that will be implemented nationwide.

"And this is despite the fact that the Russian Federation has one of the lowest indicators of industrial production automation," Grigoriev drew attention. – Most likely, we are just talking about another label, about another fashionable advertising word that helps "master budgets". We remember that recently it was innovations, even before nanotechnology, and now, since global trends favor this, money from the budget will be mastered under the pretext of digitalization. When 3-5 years have passed and it turns out that this activity has not brought any results, they will come up with something else and will justify with the same insistence that now investments in a completely new area will lead us to success."

In addition, Grigoriev said that, as follows from official documents and statements, when it comes to the digitalization of the economy, it implies the digitalization of public services.

"If you look, for example, at the Kudrin materials, they plan to extend digitalization to everything there," the expert said. – That is, to get an education digitally. You don't need a lot of universities. There will be, conditionally, several universities, and they will record online courses and put seals on everyone. Then there is the concept that medical services also need to be provided remotely. This is some kind of very tough cyberpunk, and meanwhile the Russian Federation is rapidly becoming a third world country. Where there are almost no normal roads. Where life expectancy is extremely low. Where there is no normal medical examination and high-quality nutrition. But instead of improving this nutrition, some incredible, almost transhumanistic ideas are being introduced. It's as if in China at the beginning of the XX century they would talk about the need for unlimited Internet."

Recall, as reported by IA REGNUM, according to Medvedev, he said at a meeting of the government commission on digital development, more than 1.8 trillion rubles will be spent in 2019-2024 on the implementation of the national program for the development of the digital economy.

It is specified that during the implementation of the national program "Digital Economy" it is necessary to create conditions for the introduction of modern technologies in all industries. There will be six directions in the work, and each of them is a separate federal project. For example, more than 1.5 billion rubles will be allocated to improve the legal regulation of the digital environment until 2024.
