Winners of the annual "Venture Investor - 2018" award have been named

The award ceremony of the National Award "Venture Investor – 2018" was held within the framework of the Open Innovations Forum. The award is organized by RAVI with the support of RVC and Baker & McKenzie.

The national Award "Venture Investor" was established by the Russian Venture Investment Association (RAVI) and RVC in 2014 and is awarded to the leaders of the Russian venture industry. During this time, she has established herself as the most prestigious mark of recognition in the Russian venture market, becoming a kind of domestic venture Oscar.

The selection of the Award winners took place in two stages. At the first stage, a long list was formed, which included more than fifty applicants selected based on the data of the venture capital investment market statistics collected annually by RAVI. After that, an expert jury joined the selection of the best participants in the venture market, which included top managers and partners of the largest Russian private equity and venture investment funds, heads of development institutions, representatives of federal and regional authorities, as well as professional associations. The Jury members gave their expert assessment to the applicants in the framework of absentee and face-to-face voting and determined the winners.

• The "best deal" of the early stage – Primer Capital
• "The best Way Out" – Buran Venture Capital Ltd. and InVenture Fund Ltd. for the deal to exit the Netology Group
• "Best Syndicated Venture Deal" – Buran Venture Capital Ltd. and AddVenture Fund Ltd.
• "The best investor in the real sector" – Bioprocess Capital Ventures
• "The Best Venture Investor in the Regions" – Internet Initiatives Development Fund
• "The Best Venture Investor at the seed stage" – Moscow Venture Investment Development Fund
• "Discovery of the Year" – Larix VC
