The production of "Giamatrix" has begun

Bio-leather production opened in OrenburgZvorykinsky Project
Today, a small innovative enterprise (MIP) "Biomateria" at Orenburg State University, in the presence of the Governor of the Orenburg Region, Yuri Berg, has started the production of bioplastic nanostructured materials for medical purposes.

MIP at the university was created as a result of productive scientific and technical cooperation between OSU scientists and specialists of the innovative company NPP Nanosynthesis.

The main biotechnological product produced will be the bio-skin "Hyamatrix" (Hyamatrix) of the winner of the 2009 Zvorykin Prize in the nomination "Best Innovative Product" Ramil Rakhmatullin. The volume of the first stage of production of innovative biomaterial will be 1500 packages per month.

The Russian innovative development – bio-skin "Hyamatrix" (Hyamatrix) is designed to protect and effectively repair defects of the skin and mucous membranes (burns, injuries, trophic ulcers, etc.). This is a bioplastic material obtained as a result of photochemical nano-structuring of the initial hyaluronic acid hydrocolloid. The nanotechnologies used in the production make it possible to avoid chemical impurities in the technological process and in the finished product, which also increases the clinical effectiveness of the Giamatrix bio-skin.

"Treatment of burn patients is very expensive and is accompanied by complex medical rehabilitation. The use of Giamatrix bio–skin makes it possible to restore damaged skin faster and make treatment less painful," said Ramil Rakhmatullin, director of Nanosynthesis, inventor of Giamatrix bio-skin, Candidate of Medical Sciences, head of the Scientific and Production Laboratory of Cellular Technologies of Orenburg State University.

According to the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, the number of victims of burns is about 700 thousand people annually. Currently, there are 82 burn centers in Russia, but the need for such medical institutions is many times greater, since only 23% of burn victims receive medical care in them, and 77% are hospitalized in surgical and traumatology departments.

The company NPP "Nanosynthesis" has been a manufacturer of high-tech biotechnological products in the field of pharmaco-bioengineering since 1999. The products being developed under the HYAMATRIX brand are original bioactive compositions based on nanostructured biopolymers. The company's production activities are based on unique high-tech technologies that give products pronounced competitive advantages.

The developed biomaterial (Bioskin "Hyamatrix"), unlike international analogues, has higher biocompatibility, clinical efficacy and optimal bioengineering properties. The use of the drug is characterized by an affordable price for a wide range of consumers.
