The literary prize on medicine and health "Sanity" announces the start of the popular vote
In 2022, the literary prize in the field of medicine "Sanity" is being held for the fourth time. The purpose of the award is unchanged — to promote medical practice, as well as to popularize the basics of medicine and a healthy lifestyle among Russians. The organizers are the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the company "Technologies of Trust" and the TV channel "Doctor".
This year for the "Sanity" Award more than 230 applications have been submitted, and at the end of the acceptance stage they have been submitted to the expert council. The award board includes representatives of the medical community, the media and publishing houses. The applications were evaluated by the expert council for compliance with the stated criteria and objectives of the award. The books that have passed the second stage are allowed to participate in the People's Vote of the "Sanity" award.

According to the results of the voting, three candidates for victory in each of the nominations will be determined:
- "Recipe for Health" – popular books about health and a healthy lifestyle based on personal or professional experience, designed for a mass audience;
- Step Forward – books about the history of medical science, its possibilities and discoveries based on evidence-based medicine;
- "Aesculapius" – memoirs and biographies of doctors.
The winner in the special nomination "The Best Book Idea" — for specialists and bloggers who promote a healthy lifestyle and come up with ideas for new books — will be selected in the final of the award. The author of the best idea will have the opportunity to publish the book in the publishing house "BOMBORA".
The popular vote began on the Crowdspace platform on July 19 and will last until September 19. Anyone can determine which of the applicants will be included in the shortlist of the award on the website.
