RVC funds have invested about 2.5 billion rubles in biotech and medicine projectsRIA News

Venture funds created with the participation of JSC "Russian Venture Company" (RVC) have so far invested about 2.5 billion rubles in biotechnology and medical technology projects, the head of RVC Igor Agamirzyan said on Monday.

Speaking at the second international forum "Research and Development of Innovative drugs in Russia", Agamirzyan noted that biomedicine is one of the priorities of the RVC funds.

According to him, the total investment volume of all venture funds with the participation of RVC is approximately 8.5 billion rubles.

The forum "Research and Development of Innovative drugs in Russia" is organized by the Adam Smith Institute (Adam Smith Conferences, Great Britain).

JSC "Russian Venture Company" is the state fund of funds and the Institute of Development of the Russian Federation, one of the key instruments of the state in building a national innovation system.
