Bioindustry-2014
The IV International Exhibition and Conference "Bioindustry" will be held on October 15-17, 2014 in St. Petersburg as part of the St. Petersburg International Health Forum.
Bioindustry-2014 is a complex of specialized exhibition areas, scientific, educational and business events, where biotechnological solutions aimed at the development of the biosphere as a comfortable human habitat will be demonstrated.
The exhibition-conference "Bioindustry" was not accidentally included in the St. Petersburg International Health Forum. Within the framework of the congress program and the exhibition, special attention will be paid to the most promising areas of the biotechnology industry, such as biomedicine and biopharmaceuticals. Also, within the framework of the project, a significant role is played by the coverage of areas of biotechnology in agriculture, ecology, energy, food and forestry, etc.
The exposition will include the following sections of the biotechnological industry: biopharmaceuticals, biomedicine, bioenergy, industrial, agricultural, food biotechnologies, forestry, environmental, marine biotechnology.
Within the framework of the business program, conferences, seminars and discussions will be held on the problems of creating an infrastructure for the development of biotechnologies, the formation and implementation of priority innovative and investment projects, solving urgent socio-economic, energy, environmental and other problems of the country by methods and means of biotechnologies, improving the legal, economic, information and organizational base for the development of biotechnologies. Experts from the Baltic region will take part in the discussion of these problems. Master classes on the topic "Bioeconomics" are also planned in the program of business events
The competition of innovative biotechnological solutions, during which the best projects, developments and product samples in various areas of the bioindustry are selected, contributes to the promotion and commercialization of biotechnologies in various fields of the economy.
Within the framework of the exhibition-conference "Bioindustry", a center for business contacts and presentations will be organized, where industry representatives will advise market participants on financial, economic, legal, marketing and other issues of industry development.
