The Congress is organized by the Scientific Council on Neurology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and its parent institution – the Scientific Center of Neurology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.

2. Parkinson's disease: results and prospects of research
3. Federal Protocol for the management of patients with Parkinson's disease
4. Genetic and molecular basis of Parkinson's disease
5. Non-motor manifestations of Parkinson's disease
6. Disorders of muscle tone and their correction
7. Paroxysmal motor disorders
8. Surgical treatment of parkinsonism and other extrapyramidal diseases
9. Emergency conditions in extrapyramidal diseases
10. Population screening and issues of early diagnosis and prevention of parkinsonism
11. Modern algorithms of pharmacotherapy of Parkinson's disease and other extrapyramidal diseases. Pharmacoeconomics
12. Medical and social rehabilitation of patients with movement disorders. Quality of life issues
The Congress is attended by the leading scientific and clinical centers of Russia: the Scientific Center of Neurology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, the I.M. Sechenov MMA, the Institute of Neurosurgery. Academician N.N. Burdenko of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Center for Extrapyramidal Diseases of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia (RMAPO), S.M. Kirov Military Medical Academy (St. Petersburg), Institute of Gerontology (Kiev), etc. Leading experts from France, Great Britain, Germany, USA, etc. are participating. Expected number of participants: 2000.
Within the framework of the Congress, an exhibition of medicines, medical equipment and rehabilitation equipment will work.
