On November 18, a lecture "Honey in the head. Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases".

Lecturer − Zamira Muruzheva, neurologist, researcher at the Laboratory of Neurobiology of Integrative Brain Functions of the I.P. Pavlov Physiological Department of the Institute of Experimental Medicine.

Neurodegenerative diseases are a large group of slowly progressing pathological conditions that have one thing in common – the death of nerve cells.

At the lecture we will discuss:

  • Does it make sense to drink red wine and learn to play preference for the prevention of Alzheimer's disease?
  • Should I rely on a vaccine that is going to be extracted from the venom of a roundworm spider?
