Scientific and practical conference "Geriatrics – investments in the future"
On March 20, 2019, a scientific and practical conference "Geriatrics - investments in the future" will be held at the Russian Gerontological Research and Clinical Center of the Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I.Pirogov of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
He will open the conference with the report "Geriatric service in Russia: results and prospects" Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Director of the OSP "Russian Gerontological Scientific and Clinical Center" of the Pirogov RNIMU of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Chief Freelance Geriatrician of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation O.N.Tkachev.
Professor O.N.Tkacheva will devote the scientific part of her speech to chronic heart failure in elderly patients.
The next lecturer of the conference, PhD, Associate Professor, senior researcher at the Laboratory of General Geriatrics and Neurogeriatrics of the OSP "Russian Gerontological Scientific and Clinical Center" of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia E.A. Mkhitaryan will tell the audience about the methods of differential diagnosis of various types of dementia.
A.V. Naumov, MD, Professor, Head of the Laboratory of Diseases of the Musculoskeletal System of the OSP "Russian Gerontological Scientific and Clinical Center" of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University of the Russian Ministry of Health, will make a scientific presentation on diseases of the musculoskeletal system in the elderly and senile age.
The final scientific report of the conference will be "Geriatric patronage in the structure of medical care for elderly and senile people", prepared by N.V. Sharashkina, Ph.D., Head of the Outpatient Geriatrics Department of the Russian Gerontological Research and Clinical Center of the Pirogov Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of the Russian Ministry of Health.
Therapists, cardiologists, neurologists, geriatricians and other primary medical specialists are invited to participate in the scientific and practical conference.
The conference will last from 14.00 to 18.00 hours with one break, involves a question-and-answer session and scientific discussions.
The conference starts at 14.00, registration of participants is held from 13.30.
