Men's health and longevity – 2009
The scientific program of the 7th Russian Scientific Forum "Men's Health and Longevity" includes the following main sessions: "Man and demography", "Pharmacotherapy in andrology", "Men's health: modern aspects", "Diseases of the reproductive system in children", "Modern man's health in the prism of sexological, psychoanalytic and psychological and psychiatric views", "Man and nervous diseases", "Gout – yesterday, today – in the quality of life of men", "Neurogenic disorders of urination and sexual function in men", "Morphology of the male reproductive system" and others.

For the first time in the framework of the forum, under the leadership of the Chief Urologist of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, MD, Prof. Dmitry Yuryevich Pushkar, together with the Russian Prostate Cancer Foundation "In Memory of Boris Khmelnitsky", will host a session "Social aspects of prostate cancer. We look from different sides" with the participation of specialists and patients (a press briefing is planned).
The forum will also include presentations of a new project of the Russian Scientific Sexological Society – advanced training courses for graduates of psychology faculties and medical universities – "Psychosexual human development" and a book published by Oleg Borisovich Zhukov, Associate Professor of the Department of Ultrasound Diagnostics, Faculty of Advanced Training of Doctors of the State Medical University of the Russian State Medical University of Roszdrav, "Diagnostics of erectile dysfunction" (clinical guidelines).
Approximately 500 specialists from Russia and CIS countries will take part in the forum, leading domestic and foreign companies such as Abbott Laboratories, Gideon Richter, Geolik–Pharm, Diode, Materia Medica Holding, Mirax-Pharma, Polisan and others will participate in the exhibition.
A collection of scientific papers of the Forum has been published, and a corresponding resolution will be adopted.
A special Letter has been issued by the Moscow City Department of Health on the referral to the forum of medical specialists of medical institutions.
