Registration for OpenBio 2019, the annual open communications platform in the field of biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals, has started.

OpenBio 2019 is an industry complex of events dedicated to the development of high-tech business and the latest scientific research in the field of life sciences. This year will be the sixth when the project will begin its work in Siberia.

From October 22 to 25, the platform will gather more than 800 participants. During these days, there will be: a business forum for business, science, government and infrastructure; a scientific conference of young molecular biologists, virologists and biotechnologists; an exhibition of biotechnological and biopharmaceutical companies, as well as the "Science Without Borders" program.

One of the important topics that will be presented for consideration will be the topics of active longevity, the biology of aging and anti-aging medicine. Doctors of biological and medical sciences, members of large companies and experts of active longevity will discuss current trends in the development of genetics and biotechnology, medicine of the future, skin youth, brain health.

OpenBio traditionally takes place on the territory of the Koltsovo science city, which is the organizer of the project. The program is supported by the Government of the Novosibirsk Region and the administration of the Koltsovo Science City.In 2018, 19 regions of the Russian Federation, 10 foreign countries, 7 industry associations and business associations, 10 development institutes, including Skolkovo, RVC and ASI, were represented at the forum.
