Partnership for Cluster Development

The II International Scientific and Practical Conference will be held in Kazan on April 23-24
"Partnership for Cluster Development"

In order to study modern models of the development of territorial innovation clusters as a tool for improving the competitiveness of regions and further development of partnership between Russian and European regions and innovation clusters, the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "Partnership for Cluster Development" will be held in the Republic of Tatarstan on April 23-24, 2015 as part of the XV Russian Venture Fair and the X Kazan Venture Fair.

The Conference will be attended by heads of foreign and Russian regions where cluster policy is successfully implemented, representatives of federal, regional and municipal executive authorities, heads of cluster organizations, large high-tech enterprises, development institutes, innovation infrastructure facilities, leading universities.

The Conference will address the most pressing issues related to improving the competitiveness of territorial innovation clusters in Russia, studying modern models for the development of innovation clusters in Europe (Germany, France, Belgium, etc.) and Southeast Asia (China, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, India), developing mechanisms for further state support the development of territorial innovation clusters in Russia, as well as the implementation of priority joint international projects of enterprises participating in Russian and foreign clusters.

The Conference program provides for a plenary session "Clusters as drivers of the development strategy of the regions of Russia", as well as a number of round tables and seminars, such as:

  • Activation of interaction between Russian clusters and Southeast Asian clusters (China, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, India);
  • Map of cluster initiatives in Russia: goals, options, implementations, effects;
  • Prospects for cooperation of engineering universities within the framework of the "CDIO World Initiative" as a tool for improving the technical level of cluster enterprises;
  • Results of the joint AIRR-EU assessment of the quality of cluster management in Russia;
  • Best practices of cluster initiatives of the Netherlands in the field of medicine, agro-
    and biotechnologies;
  • The European experience of cluster development: lessons for Russia (Belgium, Germany). White (Green) Book of Clusters of Europe (European Commission);
  • Promotion of cluster initiatives at the federal level, etc.

In order to position the Kama innovative territorial production cluster and demonstrate the potential of its participants, exhibition expositions of enterprises participating in the Kama cluster will be presented.
