Patenting for biotechnologists and chemists

Seminars on patenting inventions in the field of chemistry and biology

Innopraktika organizes a series of seminars on patenting inventions in the field of chemistry and biology in Russia and abroad.

Within the framework of the seminars, issues related to changes in intellectual property legislation, the peculiarities of patenting objects of biotechnology, organic and inorganic chemistry, the assessment of novelty and inventive level of developments, and much more will be considered. In addition, it is planned to discuss the most common mistakes made by applicants when preparing and submitting applications for inventions to Rospatent.

The seminar participants will be given a unique opportunity to ask a question directly to experts who review applications for inventions submitted by Russian and foreign applicants and make decisions on granting patents of the Russian Federation or on refusal to grant patents of the Russian Federation.

The purpose of the series of seminars is to improve the quality of applications for inventions submitted to the Patent Office, which should result in a reduction in the number of refusals to grant patents and the number of requests sent to applicants during the examination of applications for inventions by experts of the Patent Office, and as a result – a reduction in the time required for filing applications. Thus, this series of seminars is aimed at improving the skills of employees, scientists, students and postgraduates of Moscow State University in the field of drawing up applications for inventions, preparing responses to examination requests, etc.

The seminars will be of interest to developers of new technologies, performers of works under government contracts and other agreements, as a result of which intellectual property should be created.
