Pharma's cool – 2017 will open new horizons for young scientists in the discovery, development and introduction of modern medicines to the market

From March 27 to April 26, 2017, the Cluster of Biological and Medical Technologies of the Skolkovo Foundation, Skolkovo Open University and the Faculty of Fundamental Medicine of Lomonosov Moscow State University are holding the fourth annual Pharma's cool – 2017 educational program. Leading Russian and international experts will tell young scientists and startups about the latest trends in the global pharmaceutical market as part of their master classes and lectures.

Pharma's cool is a month-long course of lectures from leading scientists, experts and drug developers who will talk about the basics of pharmaceuticals: from the search for a molecule, its optimization, synthesis, preclinical and clinical research, finding funding for development, intellectual property protection, registration of medicines and commercialization of scientific projects. The program will cover all stages of the life cycle of the development of innovative medicines, their results and research success targets. 

Target audience: students and postgraduates, young specialists in the field of pharmacy, medicine, chemistry, biology and related disciplines, employees of innovative biomedical projects, biotechnological and pharmaceutical companies, employees of companies participating in the Cluster of Biomedical Technologies of the Skolkovo project and applicants for the status of a participant in the Skolkovo project in the direction of biomedical technologies.

Graduates of Pharma's cool – 2017 will receive certificates of completion of the program based on the results of the program testing, and the best will compete for the opportunity to complete internships and/or training in leading pharmaceutical partner companies of the event.
