The Adam Smith Institute Forum "Pharmaceutical Portfolio Management in Russia: Creating Successful Product Strategies and Alliances" (PPPM – Russia) will be held on March 2-3, 2011 in Basel, Switzerland.

Key Forum sessions:

  • Discussion of industry leaders. The discussion will be attended by CEOs and Regional Managers of such companies as Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline, F. Hoffmann La Roche, Nycomed and Dr. Reddy's, who will share their vision of possible scenarios for the development of the sector, as well as analyze the most important elements of any successful growth strategy of the company in rapidly developing markets.
  • In–depth session - "Search for opportunities and creation of successful alliances in Russia".   • A session of short presentations consisting of a series of five-minute speeches by both Russian and international companies representing their interest in entering into partnership alliances, the continuation of the session will be one-on-one meetings.
  • A special focus session dedicated to strategic, financial, marketing and commercial aspects of product portfolio management in the region.
  • Work-shop – "Evaluation of existing business models to achieve a competitive advantage in the generic market". This 3-hour hands-on work-shop will be conducted jointly by Malcolm Ross, President of Generapharm Consultancy, Switzerland and Veniamin Munblit, Director of the Department of Analytics and Consulting, Comcon-Pharma, Russia.
