International Conference "Phystechbiomed – 2017"
The Phystech School of Biological and Medical Physics (FBMF) of MIPT invites you to take part in the annual International Conference "Phystechbiomed - 2017", which will be held at Phystech on September 21-22. The purpose of the conference is to bring together leaders and experts in the field of bioengineering, neurotechnology and geriatrics on one platform to discuss ideas related to "active longevity", neurology, bioengineering and biotechnology, improving health and medicine of the future to combat various diseases.
The FBMF defines "Active Longevity" as the process of optimizing all opportunities for maintaining health, active participation in public life in order to improve the quality of life as people age. "Active longevity" allows people to realize their potential for physical, social and mental well-being throughout the life cycle and active participation in society, while ensuring their adequate protection and safety.
Today, the victory over aging has become a technical problem: scientists have already learned how to slow it down, prolonging the life of laboratory animals dozens of times. An increasing number of researchers are beginning to consider aging as a biological process that can be regulated if we learn to understand its biological causes and the underlying underlying mechanisms. The main ones are related to the work of genes.
The conference will give an opportunity to specialists from dozens of countries and branches of science to coordinate their efforts in the fight against aging, to form common priorities, a common program of actions aimed at prolonging life.
Participants of the conference will be able to learn about new trends in the management of normal and pathological processes in the body, aging processes, as well as about the latest achievements and developments in the field of "digital health", anti-aging medicine; the use of stem cells, aesthetic aspects of women's and men's health, get acquainted with comprehensive practical methods of combating dementia and aging in the context of research different sciences and much more. On the second day, a school of young scientists will be held.
