RosMedProm-2007

A special exhibition of medical equipment, medicines and vaccines ("RosMedProm-2007") will be held on December 19-20, 2007 at the World Trade Center at the address: Moscow, Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, 12.

The organizers are the Federal Agency for Healthcare and Social Development, the Federal Agency for Industry, the Federal Service for Supervision of Healthcare and Social Development, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, the Military-Industrial Commission under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Government of Moscow.

One of the main objectives of the exhibition are:

• study of the possibility of increasing the production of domestic enterprises, especially the defense complex, medical equipment, medicines and vaccines;

• comparative analysis of the competitiveness of domestic and imported medical products;

• identification of the reasons preventing domestic manufacturers from taking a leading position in the Russian market of medical equipment, medicines and vaccines;

• optimization of the system and structure of procurement of medical equipment, medicines and vaccines using federal funds and at the expense of the regions.

Within the framework of the exhibition, a closed meeting will be held with representatives of federal executive authorities, regional administrations, health authorities and institutions, heads of enterprises of the medical and pharmaceutical industry (including specialized enterprises of the military-industrial complex).

Exhibiting firms are given the opportunity not only to demonstrate their products to the participants, but also to show promising developments, introduce plans, and discuss possible projects.
