The health of the nation is the basis of Russia's prosperity

In modern conditions, the formation of a healthy lifestyle and the modernization of the health care system is becoming a priority of state policy. Improving the health of the Russian population is possible only thanks to the joint efforts of the state, public organizations, and business representatives. It is this kind of effective cooperation that underlies the All–Russian Forum "The Health of the Nation is the basis of Russia's prosperity", which will be held for the seventh time on September 15-17 this year at the Manege Central Exhibition Center.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Development and the All-Russian Public Organization League of National Health.

The organizing committee of the Forum includes: Minister of Health and Social Development Tatyana GOLIKOVA, Director of the Department of Informatization of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation V.V. DUBININ, Director of the Federal State Institution "Central Research Institute of Organization and Informatization of Healthcare" of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences V.I. STARODUBOV, etc. The Forum is supported by the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, Federal ministries, agencies and services, the Moscow City Government, and regional administrations.

The Forum will be inaugurated by the Minister of Health and Social Development Tatyana GOLIKOVA. A number of scientific and practical conferences and the exhibition "National Health and Healthcare" will be held within the framework of the Forum. Materials of scientific and practical events are submitted to the country's leadership and the relevant authorities in the regions for consideration. One of the main events of the Forum this year will be the All-Russian Scientific and Practical conference "Information and Communication Technologies in healthcare". The topics and the composition of the speakers are being formed. The organization of teleconferencing and broadcasting of the conference to all regions of the Russian Federation with the connection of regional MIAC is being discussed.

More than 1,500 leading specialists from all over the country take part in the Forum's congresses. These are the first persons of the national healthcare: ministers, representatives of Rospotrebnadzor, heads of departments of relevant ministries and departments, chief doctors of the largest medical institutions of the country, heads of famous federal research and medical centers, research institutes, universities, professors, academicians of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. The exhibition "National Health and Healthcare", organized within the framework of the Forum, will be attended by regions of the Russian Federation, public and non-profit organizations, as well as major Russian and foreign companies, charitable organizations, higher medical institutions of the country, federal scientific and medical centers, district clinical hospitals, non-profit partnerships, scientific and industrial associations.

In 2010, the Ministries of Health of more than 40 regions of the Russian Federation presented their expositions at the exhibition "Time of Health" within the framework of the Forum, including: Kurgan Region, Altai Territory, Kaluga Region, Bryansk Region, Ryazan Region, Ulyanovsk Region, Chuvashia, Yamalo-Nenets District, Yaroslavl Region, Vologda Region, Ivanovo Region, Kemerovo Krasnodar Region, Lipetsk Region, Moscow and Moscow Region, Omsk Region, Perm Region, Republic of Bashkortostan, Komi Republic, Republic of Mari El, Republic of Mordovia, Rostov Region, St. Petersburg, Sakhalin Region, Stavropol Territory, Tula Region, Udmurda Republic, Khabarovsk Territory, Chelyabinsk Region, etc.

The Forum will include an exchange of experience, demonstration of successful social projects and programs. The best projects will be awarded by the Organizing Committee of the Forum. The Forum is traditionally widely covered by federal and regional media (including Channel One, Russia TV channel, NTV, etc.).

The All–Russian Forum "Health of the Nation – the basis of prosperity of Russia" is an annual event of the League of Health of the Nation and the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation.

The Forum traditionally hosts a series of scientific and practical conferences, round tables on topical issues of healthcare, demographic policy, education, the development of mass sports and environmental protection.

The Forum is the largest federal platform for the demonstration of state and corporate programs, projects, services and goods for a healthy lifestyle.
