Lomonosov Moscow State University will open a set for a master's program
"Management of biotechnologies"
This summer, the Economics and Biology Faculties of Lomonosov Moscow State University are conducting a new set of interfaculty master's programs – "Management of Biotechnologies" and "Bioengineering, Biotechnology and Bioeconomics". This is reported by the publication "Science and Technology of Russia". The first interfaculty master's programs at Moscow State University were created on the initiative of two deans – Academician Mikhail Kirpichnikov and Professor Alexander Auzan, according to the website of the scientific and technical non-profit partnership "BioTech2030 Technology Platform".
It is specified that the programs are aimed at training managers and researchers in the field of biotechnology to work in business, research centers and government agencies, as well as entrepreneurs. Students will gain skills and knowledge to work in high-tech industries: medicine and pharmacology, industry, food and agriculture, fuel and energy complex, environmental protection and so on
Master's degree programs are implemented in cooperation with representatives of Future Biotech, RT-Biotechprom (Rostechnology Group), Pfizer, the BioTech2030 Technology Platform, the Russian Venture Company, the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of National Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the MSU Business Incubator and other organizations.
It is possible to study at budget places. For those wishing to enroll from June 16 to June 27 this year, preparatory express courses will be held. From June 19 and approximately until July 5, the acceptance of documents will be held, approximately from July 8 to July 15, exams will be held. The start of training in the new inter-faculty master's programs is scheduled for September.
