RFBR and EMBL Grants: 2012 competition

Joint competition of initiative research projects in 2012
RFBR and the European Laboratory for Molecular Biology

Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) and the European Laboratory for Molecular Biology (EMBL), in accordance with the "Agreement on Scientific Cooperation between the RFBR and EMBL", announce a 2012 competition for financial support for fundamental scientific research in the field of molecular biology (EMBL_a competition) in the following areas:

  • Structural biology
  • Genomics
  • Biomolecular chemistry
  • Cell biology (Cell biology/imaging)
  • Development of XFEL technology in relation to life science (XFEL technology development for life science application)
  • High performance computing

The competition supports research carried out jointly by Russian scientists and EMBL researchers and representing mutual interest.

Applications are accepted until 30.11.2011.
