Open competitions for small businesses under the Start-2012 programThe Foundation for Assistance to the Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere announces the holding of open competitions for small businesses under the Start-2012 program.

The purpose of the program is state support for small innovative enterprises seeking to develop and master the production of new goods, products, technologies or services using the results of their scientific and technological research, which are at an early stage of development and have great potential for commercialization, including in order to facilitate the implementation of state innovation programs:

  • commercialization of developments carried out in state scientific and educational organizations and implemented by enterprises established in accordance with Federal Law No. 217-FZ of August 02, 2009;
  • development of innovative activities at universities using the infrastructure created by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 219 of April 09, 2010;
  • development of innovative activity in Russia within the framework of the Skolkovo project.

The initial stage of development means that a small enterprise has existed for no more than 2 years and has not yet started selling products (the lack of sales means that it does not exceed 0.3 million rubles per year). Financial support is provided for research and development work.

Small business entities that meet the criteria for being classified as a small business entity in accordance with Federal Law No. 209-FZ of 07/24/2007 can participate in the Program

Applications will be submitted through the Fund system from December 01, 2011.
