The tenth breakthrough into the future
X All-Russian Internet Olympiad "Nanotechnology – a breakthrough into the future"
The All–Russian Intellectual Forum - Olympiad (X All-Russian Olympiad in Nanotechnology) continues the traditions of the Internet Olympiad, held since 2006. The aim of the Olympiad is to develop interdisciplinary natural science approaches in education, science and technology. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Olympiad is the Rector of Moscow University, Academician V.A.Sadovnichy, Vice–Chairmen are the Vice-Rector of Moscow State University, academician A.R.Khokhlov, Dean of the MSU FNM, academician K.A.Solntsev. Educational and methodological support of the Olympiad is provided by the MSU Scientific and Educational Center for Nanotechnology, the Faculty of Materials Sciences, Chemical, Physical, Biological Faculties of MSU, as well as representatives of a number of leading universities and organizations of the Russian Academy of Sciences, invited to the methodological commission and the jury of the Olympiad. The Supervisory Board of the Olympiad includes leading Russian representatives of science and business engaged in the development of nanotechnology. The Olympiad is held in close cooperation with the RUSNANO School League.
Schoolchildren of grades 5-11, students, postgraduates, young scientists, teachers, teachers, enthusiasts of nanotechnology development from the Russian Federation, CIS countries and foreign countries will be able to take part in the forum-Olympiad. To obtain the status of a participant, you must provide the necessary minimum of authentic personal information during REGISTRATION. Participation in the Olympiad at all stages is free of charge.
Competitions will be organized within the framework of the Olympiad, which will allow any participant to maximize their strength, knowledge, experience and creativity. The main theoretical round of the Olympiad for schoolchildren is held according to the traditional complex of subjects for the Olympiad: "chemistry", "physics", "mathematics" and "biology". The jubilee X Olympiad "Nanotechnology – a breakthrough into the future" is included in the list of RSOSH Olympiads of schoolchildren for the 2015-2016 academic year at the first number and has the first level in all four subjects, which gives applicants from the Russian Federation and a number of CIS countries the opportunity to enter universities of the Russian Federation on preferential terms. The reception and examination of project works will also be organized for schoolchildren (the contest "Brilliant Thoughts").
For students, postgraduates and young scientists, a competition of research papers will be held (the competition "Just about complicated").
As part of the Olympiad, an open school conference will be held with lectures, oral presentations, a training tour, and discussion of issues of modern natural science education.
All winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad will receive official diplomas, valuable prizes and gifts.
The main key dates of the 2015-2016 Olympics:
- December 1 – the beginning of the theoretical correspondence tour for schoolchildren of grades 5-11, as well as competitions of project works of schoolchildren "Brilliant thoughts"November 15 – the beginning of the research competition of students, postgraduates, young scientists "Just about complicated"
- January 25 – summing up of the results of the research competition of young scientists "Just about the difficult"
- January 31 – the end of the acceptance of works of the theoretical correspondence tour for schoolchildren
- February 6-7 – Winter School conference within the framework of the Olympiad (the program will be published after December 1, 2015)
- February 8-9 – summing up the results of the correspondence theoretical tour for schoolchildren, appeals
- February 11 – announcement of the results of the theoretical correspondence tour for schoolchildren
- February 14 – the end of the reception of projects of the contest of projects of schoolchildren "Brilliant thoughts"
- February 22 – publication of information on the support of nonresident participants of the full-time round of the Olympiad by the Organizing Committee
- March 24-29 – the full-time round of the Olympiad, announcement of the winners, closing ceremony

The Olympiad is held under the auspices of the Russian Council of School Olympiads.
